Q: How do you eat them without getting your hands sticky?

A: Eat the pretzels by picking them up with your forefinger and thumb, then insert them directly into your mouth. Thus, your hand(s) will not become sticky. If it does, resort to chopsticks.

I am from North Dakota and loved going back to get these pretzels. I can remember as far back as 12 years ago eating them every time I would go home. As soon as I hit the border I would stop at a convenience store and buy bags to continue on my road trip home. Now, it's not even close to the same taste. Less buttery, way less seasoning, and dryer. It's a shame that one of the most nostalgic food items from the state, and every single resident of the state knew of these pretzels, is now completely gone and never to return. I won't be buying these ever again, and nor will the hundreds of people that I introduced these pretzels to over the years.

Like everyone else who tried these, I was in love from the first bite. I just bought a bag of the garlic pretzels, my favorite, and will not buy them again unless they are marked "original garlic" or some such notice. There is half the flavoring on them than there used to be. Before, your fingers were covered with seasoning from the first pretzel Now it's mostly just pretzel. Also, both the original and the garlic have more of a spicy aftertaste than the seasoning that WAS on there. There was no heat whatsoever on the garlic before, and I don't recall any on the original. This past week I bought both and both were too spicy for me to keep eating. WHY do people have to mess with success??? Bad bad move.

Don't be fooled that Hershey has kept the name "Dot Pretzels ." This tactic is just to keep us buying the product. The truth of the matter is that these Pretzels now taste like poop!! Every since the Hersey company purchased Dot's Pretzels, they have not tasted right at all. Not from when I remember them.They don't have as much flavor and the quality has gone down. They were my favorite snack of all time. I don't think I will go back to them. Please go back to the original recipe like they had before they were owned by this company.

The last two bags I've purchased have had very little seasoning, these used to be addicting but now it takes my kids weeks to finish a bag. It's a shame, but I'm not going to buy these anymore.

Every so often I get a bag of these that has prices as hard as pencils. I bit down one one and cracked my eye tooth on it. $1250.00 and a crown later,come wondering why there's no quality control on these. You're making bank with the ridiculous price. All g with hard pieces, the resealable bag doesn't always reclose, and the texture of the pretzels is, in addition to being hard as a rock, off somehow every few purchases.

The original seasoned pretzels used to be great. But they have cut back on the seasoning to the point that the product now just tastes like regular pretzels. Since they cost more than regular pretzels, save your money and just buy normal pretzels.

Dots Pretzels are not the same since Hershey bought them. There is less flavor than the original Dots Velva, ND. Hershey closed the Velva plant in 2023 and now it’s just a corporate conglomerate brand. I won’t buy Dots again after Hershey ruined the recipe. Probably to save a dime thanks to accountants.

I had been avoiding the Dot's pretzel line because they always felt more expensive than say Utz. However I'm finding I now regret that, to me they are like pretzels with the same seasoning as the "Bold" Chex mix bags. They are good, crunchy, and AMAZING with hummus.

I tried these for the first time, and wasn't aware that there was cayenne pepper in them. Nowhere on the packaging lists it as an ingredient; in fact, the packaging just says "spices." I've heard such good things about these only to be disappointed after eating two. My face and throat are itchy, and my eyes are watery. I wouldn't have picked up a package if I had known.

Just bought a bag, and I am still impressed with the flavor! Although, there is not nearly enough seasoning. My fingers used to be covered in seasoning whenever I ate them. Now, there is barely anything, and the twists lack that impact they used to have.

My family, and I love these pretzels, I can't keep them in house long. My only problem is that the sodium count is high. I wish you had a low sodium ones, that I could enjoy without getting a headache from the salt.
