Dove Beauty Garden Tea Party Body Wash - Velvet Fig Bloom - Limited Edition - 20 fl oz

I thought this body wash by Dove would be so much better than it turned out to be. The cap is difficult to get open in the shower and it is more like a lotion than soap as it doesn't seem to lather and clean as soap should. I regret choosing this and now am stuck with it and really dislike using it . Dove should do way better than this . DONT WASTE TOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE.

Smells terrible, not to mention it has more of a lotion texture & leaves your skin feeling sticky. It’s a no for me.

Wow ladies, this is lovely. It’s such a soft beautiful scent. The description of lovely fragrances that included warm spun sugar made me try this one. Also if you have sensitive skin like me that can break out on your back, shoulders, chest Dove never does this to me so is safe to try :) not to mention the absolutely beautiful name Dove Garden Tea party. This is a girly girls dream. The pink color and the way it foams are just perfect. I’m sad it’s limited edition so I’ll need to grab a few. Why am in in the bathtub because I had to let you know now lol 🙈

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dove Deep Nourishment Body Wash in the scent of Velvet Fig for free in exchange for an honest review. I’ve used Dove body wash prior to receiving this particular one, and it’s comparable to most of their product line. It lathers up great and I love the Fig scent. It’s a bit reminiscent of Voluspa’s Fig scented candle. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it’s so unnecessary for any body wash to have dyes in them. If Dove took out the dyes in this product, I’d definitely purchase it.

This is definitely a great scent for spring and summer. Most noticeably, this body wash is immediately hydrating. Once you rinse it off, you can feel the skin nourished and moisturized. The scent lingers for a decent amount of time afterward which is nice.

I have sensitive skin so fragrance body washes sometimes irritate me but this one did not. Almost had a fight with my sister because she kept using it 🤣🤣🤣

The fact that you have to use so much of this product to feel like you actually have a lather, we would not get a reasonable amount of use for the money. I would rather use bar soap over this body wash

This does not impact the effectiveness, though! 🙂 overall, a nice product! I did notice my dry skin seems to be moisturized after use.

The scent is pretty strong so I'm surprised I didn't get a headache. It has such a sweet almost candy-like smell mixed with a floral scent, you do get the velvet aroma. I think this collection is very pretty when it comes to the design on the bottle, the florals are very nice. I would hope to be able to find the other scents they offer in this limited edition collection, as I would purchase them. I liked that the scent still stayed on my skin the next morning after I showered at night with it.
