This stuff is amazing! I was using a very expensive salon shampoo/conditioner. It slowly dried out my hair and scalp. I tried a couple of other expensive shampoos/conditioners, and they made it worse. Out of desperation, I bought Dove Intensive Repair shampoo/conditioner. What a difference! My hair is left well conditioned. This product would be 4 stars if not for the scent of the conditioner. The container does not Label a smell, and I did not open it at the store to check, but the scent is overwhelming. It isn't just a strong smell, I also find it unpleasant.

I only use salon brand hair care, but tried this based on all the positive reviews...this blows EVERYTHING I've ever used out of the water. I have double processed hair, curly, frizzy, breakage and this made my hair look SO good. BUT I unfortunately won't be using it. I hate the fragrance. It's so unpleasant and strong it gives me a migraine. People generally do not enjoy overly fragrant hair products especially being so close to their face. I tried to convince the other people in my house to try it due to how well it works thinking the fragrance issue was just a me thing, but they won't touch it cause the scent. My daughter sneezed and coughed after smelling it and said "Ew no way" my husband asked me what I was wearing and told me it makes his head spin and asked me if I could move my head from his arm :( Gone are the days of the gentle clean scent of Dove, back when my mom used it. I unfortunately had to wash the lovely results away in hopes my migraine would go away. It took 2 washes of a clarifying shampoo and I can still smell it. Dove PLEASE change your scent back to a lighter fragrance so I can enjoy your products.

I wanted to love this conditioner, but I can't get over how bad it smells. It smells like cheap, low quality soap. Think the pink soap from elementary school or the free bar soap you get at lower end hotels. Dove, please change the scent because this is not it.

Just started using this shampoo and conditioner and have been pleased with the results. Clean shiney hair an moist scalp. I'm just finishing up my first s&c and have no complaints. Will continue to use these 2 Dove products.All personal hygiene products are Dove...s&c, hair spray, deodrant, body spray, and body wash. (recommended by Dermatologists for Mom and myself)

Our hair is much easier to brush and I have found my hair to be more manageable to style. The smell of this hair system stays in the hair for days which I appreciate because I don’t like to wash my hair every day but my hair certainly smells like I do.

It is a big bottle that will last me a while and pairs perfectly with the shampoo to give me the shine I need and help my damaged hair. I don’t have to worry about running out and spending a lot to get more so often and the ingredients aren’t clean as well as the scent.

Horrible allergic reaction. My scalp broke out almost immediately after washing my hair. My scalp had a burning red rash and hives. I immediately rewashed my hair but I’ve been suffering with itchy scalp and hives all day . Thank goodness for antihistamines.
