Q: I can’t figure out how to open mine/activate the pump. I tried to twist the top so that the pump spring opens like on lotion or soap but it’s not working.

However, if you want to try Even Tone Body Wash, you can try the product on a small patch of your child's skin (i.e. the wrist or back of arm) and wait around 24 hours. Oohhh, girl - just don't buy this! Yes, the $4 off coupon is tempting. But, unless you want to smell like something your great aunt gifted you back in 1986 - pass! In all seriousness, it smells like rancid lotion. Too bad, I usually really like Dove producs .

This formula needs some work. It lathers well but the scent is very faint and does not last. My skin doesn’t feel as clean or moisturized after use. Why do products for melanated people always have to cost more for a smaller bottle?

I bought this wash at target because it caught my eye. I didn’t really pay attention to the name but the ingredients were what I was looking for. I am not a melanin rich skin type but the body wash is amazing. I have sensitive skin and get heat rash. I went on vacation to Mexico and came back with heat rash everywhere. I used this product for two days after returning and not only did it make my skin soft but it helped soothe my skin. I thoroughly enjoy the scent. I will definitely be purchasing it again.

I have been dealing with hyperpigmentation for years. I have been through so many products, but nothing came close to the velvety goodness in this bottle. This body wash is the only product that thoroughly cleans and moisturizes my skin. Also, three bottles in, my skin looked clearer than ever. This has to be the best product I have ever used!

The only thing that sucks it my skin is sensitive so it didn’t react that well to it because I do feel a bit of itchiness, but that’s my skin since it’s super sensitive.

The scent pairs well with my lotion and perfume and lasts for hours. You get a very good size bottle for a reasonable price.
