Dr. Brown's Milestones 9 fl oz Baby's First Straw Cup

I had originally bought the Nuk sippy cup (super cute and definitely leakproof!). But my daughter, who was 6 months at the time, didn’t take to it and wasn’t getting enough water. I asked around, and since my daughter is breastfeed friends and family suggested one with a straw and recommended this one. My daughter took to it within a day! Since it doesn’t need to be tilted for her to be able to get water, she’s able to hold and drink it herself! I haven’t had any leaking issues at all. The only water that will come out is from the sucked-up water in the straw; once sucked up, it doesn’t go back down into the cup, which I found helpful when my daughter first started to use it. I could sip it, get the water in the straw so when I gave it to her, there was already water there, and she knew to suck. Also, it stops any backwash going down into the rest of the water. I definitely recommend this one or a straw cup for any babies just starting to drink water, especially if they haven’t had much experience with holding and tilting bottles. Water itself is a new taste for them and takes some time for them to get used to, so having a cup that is easy to use is a must! I wish I had gotten it sooner.

It was useless after just a few uses. Measuring marks also stared to come out. Disappointed!

Too hard to clean and unbelievably dirty even it’s just a water cup and no other liquid at all!

This cup is not leak proof. It worked great at first but now every time my 11 month old uses it her clothes gets all wet! Don’t waste your money on this.

Worked the first time then stopped no matter how much I repositioned the straw and leaked a lot.

After 3 uses, the straw stopped working.

Love this!!! My one year olds love these and have no problem sucking liquid out compared to some difficult cups. The straw pulls out easy for cleaning. My only complaint is there are a lot of parts to research for proper cleaning.

My baby was able to learn using this cup but it’s so hard for him to get a good amount of water from each suction. After a month it stopped working. I’m not sure if I’m assembling it wrong but I’ve done it many times and just now no water will rise. I didn’t have issues with leakage.

This is the furthest thing from spill proof. Each time we use it, my child makes the biggest mess. I’m much happier with the Stainless Steel Cloud Island cup with the Straw

Every liquid, whether full or not, will leak from this cup! I had it sitting on the counter with water in it and it leaked!

Super hard to drink from. Maybe that is the intent to avoid spilling but requires a lot of suction to get any water out.

Love this product. So easy to take apart and clean.

This was the perfect cup for my son to transition to a sippy cup. He's comfortable using straws in general and using other cups now. So happy with this purchase!

When assembly correctly, it is fairly leakproof. However, the weighted straw pulled the spout down out of the lid, which makes it NOT leakproof. I returned, every time my child tried to use it there was water everywhere.

Leaks SO MUCH from the straw! Such a pain when using for milk because it will leak all over the place. Definitely do not recommend, I would use the other Dr browns straw cups any day over this cup.

Got this cup from target & both my child & I love it !! Held up pretty well but the straw tip was bitten off 🙃 so time for a new one ! Didn’t leak as long as you tighten it correctly! Awesome transformation cup!

The moment you screw on the lid, these things start leaking.

Just bought this sippy cup for my 7 month old to give water. He loves to drink in this. Easy for him to hold the handles and drink.
