Do not buy!
Waste of money on bottles and milk. It doesn’t matter how much or how little amount is in these bottles. It leaks. I’ve out the lid on so tight it took a bit to get off and it still leaked. Now they are in the trash. So sad.

My favorite bottles
I have tried Dr Brown regular bottles, Comotomo, MAM anti colic bottles, Philips Avent and several other bottle brands—and so far this is my favorite! Although I would not recommend it for newborns or premie babies as they need a slower flow, probably after 1 month old would be good. The flow is not too fast and not too slow (perfect) for my 2- month old. Nipple sis comfortable and doesn’t make him gag. It doesn’t spill for us, etc.

Great bottles - Unsure why others leak
These are great bottles, I was blessed with twins and I dont have time to fuss with something the kids wont latch on quickly. I had the free flow and I upgraded to these. The one thing i do notice is that my kids are easier to burp. It may just be me justifying my purchase but I've noticed easy burping. Kids change so fast and it could just be coincidence. I was worried about leaking since so many reviews said they do but i havent had an issue. The nipple acts as a compression gasket when you tighten the lid. I guess if there is no pressure on the lid it will leak but i've never had that happen. If you flip the bottle upside down it will leak. It comes with white coins to stop the fluid from coming out if you put them in a bag. If you dont put those in, they will leak everywhere when traveling.

It's a no for me!
I used to love these bottles. But lately I have had 3 bottles of breast milk leak allllllll over my child completely soaking his clothes and burp cloth so much that I could squeeze out the milk. Which is extremely disappointing when my production is low and it took 3 pumping sessions to make the bottle. These suck when you’re having late nights or random feedings that are urgent when your baby is having a meltdown because if the nipple is not absolutely perfect, you’ll waste the entire bottle. They also have way too many parts to clean. There are other anti colic bottles that don’t require as much assembly. There are 6 different pieces total to clean after using this bottle. Would NOT recommend these and will be returning the boxes I have not opened yet

Love the wide mouth bottles. The cons are that the bottles have the indents that make it inconvenient to hold and wash. The pacifier in the package is awkward and standing out and is not flush with the baby’s mouth so it’s very easy to slip out and get lost. Otherwise great starter package.

Does not leak if used correctly. Love these bottles.
Ever since we switched to these bottles our son has been less gassy/not gassy. Which means he’s less fussy. He also doesn’t spit up if at all with these bottles. The leak (see what I did there). You must take the vent system out of the bottle before warming, using a bottle warmer, or shaking up formula. I know it’s an extra step (especially in the middle of the night) but the pressure from heat or shaking is what causes the leaks. It says so in the Dr. Brown’s instructions which I know most like me probably do not read the instructions for a bottle because a bottle is pretty self explanatory right? Not the case, every bottle system is different especially with the anti colic bottles with their different parts and such. Hopefully this helps. We love these bottles.

I love the nipple and my newborn does as well. I have used the regular Dr. Browns bottle before and that was the only reason I went back to them. But these bottles leak extremely badly.
