Description
We specifically formulated Dr. Scholl’s® Freeze Away® Wart Remover for people who suffer from common and plantar warts.
How to Use:
STEP 1
Attach open end of the white applicator to blue nozzle of pressurized can and twist clockwise to lock in place.
STEP 2
Place box with built-in activator on a table or other sturdy surface. Turn pressurized can upside down and insert the applicator into the activator, aligning the 3 tabs on the pressurized can with the 3 slots in the activator. Note: Pressurized can must be upside down to function properly.
STEP 3
Press down on pressurized can and hold for 2 to 3 seconds. You will hear a hissing sound the entire time as the applicator tip is being frozen. The applicator tip will be filled with cold liquid and you will see condensation (white frosty appearance). You may smell some dimethyl ether.
STEP 4
Leaving the applicator on the pressurized can, lightly press the tip of the applicator on the wart that is to be frozen for the treatment time directed in the booklet. Do not swab. Apply Freeze Away® Wart Remover immediately after you take it out of the activator and while it is still very cold or it will not work. There will be an aching, itching, stinging sensation as the wart is frozen.
STEP 5
After treatment, set pressurized can and activator out of reach of children.
STEP 6
After 2 minutes, grasp applicator by its plastic stem and remove from pressurized can by turning counter-clockwise. Discard the applicator after single use. Do not reuse applicator or touch the tip of the applicator with bare hands to ensure that you don’t reinfect the skin with the wart virus.
Why It Works:
•A wart is a skin growth caused by some types of human papillomavirus, (HPV). The virus can infect the top layer of skin and enters the body in an area of broken skin.
•Dr. Scholl’s® Freeze Away® Wart Remover rapidly freezes the wart to aid its removal. The body then replaces the wart tissue with normal, new tissue.
How to Use:

Q: How painful is this and how long does the pain last? I'm wondering whether a 5 year old would tolerate this without feeling abused, because it seems far more efficient than the salicylic acid method. Thank you!

A: Dr. Scholl's "Freeze Away" Wart Remover is indicated to remove common and plantar warts. Plantar warts are located at the bottom of the foot. Common warts are frequently found on hands, legs and feet. If you have a common wart on your leg, then this product is appropriate for your use.

Good alternative to a dr’s visit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a good alternative to a doctor’s visit. I was a little confused as to how to use it on the first try. The box stores everything neatly. The results were 50/50. My daughter had warts on her heel - this product worked on one, but not the other, so we had to see a derm for the 2nd one. I’d say it’s worth trying first because it’s a lot cheaper than the doc, but no guarantees it will work.

Great product for wart removal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product to have if you have warts. Years and years ago I had to go into the Dr. to have a wart removed from the bottom of my foot. I wish this would have been an option for me as it would have been way easier! It’s very easy to use and is effective as it helped my husbands wart. I also love the packaging it comes in to keep everything together.

Worked in only one treatment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dr. Scholl’s Freeze Away Wart Remover kit free from Dr. Scholl’s and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. As a mom of two sporty boys who spend a fair share of their time barefoot, I am no stranger to warts. My boys have had them from time to time requiring us to seek treatment at their doctor. Finding time to drive across town to go to an appointment is challenging not to mention expensive. I was happy to learn that with the Freeze Away Wart Remover kit, I can treat my boys warts in the comfort of our home. The medication applicator comes housed in a small plastic box that was easy to store. The directions were clear and easy to follow. They stated that it was safe to use the product on kids 4+ which made me comfortable using it on my boys ages 8 and 12. Other than a brief freezing sensation, my boys said that it didn’t hurt or sting. It worked quickly and after 1 treatment both boys warts were gone. This is a great product that should be included in every mom’s medical arsenal. I highly recommend!

Effective alternative to a doctor visit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used Dr. Scholl’s Freeze Away Wart Remover on a wart that popped up out of nowhere on my son’s knee, and it worked pretty well! The process was easy - just follow the directions, apply the tip to the wart and it’s quick. After freezing the wart, it turned white, and within a few days, it started to shrink and eventually sloughed off. The wart was gone in less than ten days, which was faster than I expected and left that scarring. My son said it stung a little when I applied it, that was the cold, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle. Definitely a convenient, effective option if you’re looking for a simple way to deal with warts at home!

Convenient and worked!

Surprisingly this did the trick and was easy enough to do by myself. The smell is strong, nothing too much but would be best in well ventilated room. The packaging is nice and convenient and small.
