Although not horrible smelling, it is much too strong and overpowering to wear in many situations. The scent is long lasting but does not have any characteristics that set it apart from generic drugstore type fragrances.

It wasn’t bad by any means but I wouldn’t actively go out to buy this product. My wife liked how it smelled, which gives it some credit and that made me happy. These were samples so I can’t comment on how the design of the bottle is, but the packaging these came in were hard to use and store.

I will say that this is a great fragrance if you are looking for something that is affordable but smells good. This is a very rich woodsy scent and reminds me of being at the barber shop. It does last a few hours and for the money, I think it's worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hearing about the Drakkar noir fragrance line all my life, I was always curious about how the fragrance smelled. Recently, I was given an opportunity to review one of the newest additions to the Drakkar line being the Drakkar noir intense. Upon spraying the fragrance, I was met with a aromatic fougere scent. When smelling the fragrance, the scent took me back to my childhood as I had smelt similar scents around me growing up. When using the fragrance for a week, I noticed the fragrance had a good projection and would last on my skin for 6-8 hours. The fragrance started off with a fresh profile and as it dried down, a woody/spicy note slowly started to appear. I found that the top notes of the fragrance were wormwood, coriander, bergamot, and rosemary. As the fragrance died down it had a middle notes of lavender, sage, and juniper berries. Then as the fragrance died to the base notes, there was a presence of patchouli, suede, and moss. Overall I found the fragrance to be a good fragrance for everyday use. If you are looking for a fragrance that is fairly affordable and smells good, I recommend trying this fragrance out. Typically I wouldn’t have ever considered this scent because I am unfamiliar with the brand! Secondly the scent is very heavy in the vanilla note and that’s mostly what I’m getting from this! It can be used as a unisex scent it’s fairly sweet smelling and suitable for both men and women! The scent is pretty long lasting as well and very strong! Overall I can’t say that I would go out of my way to purchase more of this fragrance, I don’t think this would be my first recommendation for a friend or family member either!
