  • A: Not really, but the instructions are incomplete. The knee pad is it a slight angle whichever direction you put it on and it’s not specified which way it should point. I assume it’s based on the injured foot.

Slick wheels go too fast

Wheels are so slick on my hardwood floors that it is difficult to maneuver. No tread on the tires. Slick and shiny and no grip on the floor. Scary.

Good but expected better

Turning radius was a little rough and it wasn’t as smooth as the older Drive I’ve used

Good price

I gave this 4 stars because it was so inexpensive. The seat is really hard and not at all comfortable to rest you knee on. Probably better to spend more money on a different one

Great walker!

It’s a great scooter. I was able to transition from crutches easily, using it in my apartment. It is lightweight and sturdy.

Affordable

There is no separation for the bulb on the boot, this can be painful.

Knee Scooter

The item is as described, works great indoors, out side on grass and soft dirt not so good wish it had gripping treads on tire but I do recommend this scooter. I am very happy with the service & speed of shipping.

Verified purchaser

This scooter is an excellent size for the house. Very sturdy and easy to maneuver. Great for a broken leg/ankle. In fact I had borrowed one from a friend but needing it for 12 weeks and you couldn’t beat the Target price. I bought my own. I would recommend it to anyone that needs it

Hand grips smell bad.

This scooter is good for the price. The turn radius is quite wide, so lots of picking up the front end, or forward/back motion to get around corners in the house. The bad thing is the smell of the hand grips, which is transferred to your hands.

Serviceable for the price.

The steering is a bit off because we received a slightly bent one. It is welded and then put together with some permanently screwed together pieces. My husband was able to loosen it with channel lock pliers and we forced the handle bars a little closer to straight. But it is sturdy and great for his recovery. Just did not have enough time to return it before we needed it.

Would buy again...

Given a choice to crutch or use the knee walker - no question the knee walker is tons better. It gives you great mobility if you can put pressure on your knee without pain. Loading the walker into the crew cab is not a problem for me, but would be for my wife. Like any piece of equipment, you should pre-flight the equipment to insure you don't have loose bolts. My brake problems occurred because the bolt holding the brakes had backed out, but was still attached to the brake lever. That being said, the rear wheel braking is not the best when going down hill when you are at max gross weight for the walker. A good pair of tennis shoes works tons better than the brakes on the walker... but I would think that it should be true for all of them since the tires are narrow. All things considered, I would buy another one,.,. and I did. A doctor neighbor gave me one to use, and I am replacing it with a new one. PS. The basket is extremely useful.. Regards

Good value

I like the size and maneuverability of this scooter. It is light weight enough to easily pick up and put in a vehicle. The only bummer is the split pad for the knee. I found that is where I always put my knee so I put a towel in the space and it is perfect. Well worth the low price!

Great piece for the money

This little device is made well for the money and has allowed me to put the crutches (ugh!) in the closet. I get around much much faster and it's actually a blast to ride. Pretty stable overall but be careful when turning with any speed - you'll be on two wheels easily. I find it simple to breakdown for loading into the car.

Brakes do not work

I regret this purchase. I had to exchange the first one that was sent after just a few days because the brakes went out on it. The second one I received had the same problem with the brakes after about a week. My son has fallen nearly half a dozen times because of the brake failure and has now injured his knee in addition to having a broken foot! Do NOT buy this product!

Not very good

It’s okay for the price, but doesn’t fold and the steering is not good at all for turning.

Lifesaver after bunion surgery

I purchased this to use after a bunion surgery I had one week ago. It works awesome and has made it possible for me to be so much more independent during this time, as I have to be non weight bearing for 4-6 weeks. I am sure if you needed a knee walker to use for the rest of your life, you might want to invest in one that is lighter weight and folds down easier for travel. However, if you are using this short term and don't want to spend a ton of money this definitely gets the job done. It provides so much more stability than crutches and the basket allows me to carry what I need with me while keeping my hands free. It has even enabled me to do some simple meal prep, which I would not have been able to do with just crutches. I would definitely buy it again.
