The soft material gently separates cats’ paws when they land on it, causing litter to be released from their paws. Litter attaches to the top fiber, reducing tracking throughout your home. Not only does the Drymate® Litter Trapping Mat reduce litter tracking it also makes cleanup around the litter box simple and easy. Gently shake the mat over the litter box to release the trapped litter, and machine wash as needed. For best results machine wash warm separately or hand wash. Hang to dry. Cat with sensitive paws? No worries! The soft fibers of the Drymate® Litter Mat are gentle on cats’ paws. Featuring the same waterproof backing as our original Litter Mat; floors are protected from litter box misses and accidents. Q: How do you clean it with a poop or pee accident? Is it only stain treated or can I hose it down outside?

A: Thank you for your interest in our Drymate Savannah Grey Cat Litter Mat. After the waste has been removed, we recommend hosing off or power washing with soap. Q: This mat Savannah looks like it has material on it Versus the Drymat Light Blue Floral 29 by 36.. I Want to scrub it (cat accident) material may slowly come off... The Floral may be better for my needs

I have an old rescue cat who isn't always sure where the edges of the litter box are and often "colors outside the lines". This product absorbs liquids well and catches any solids. These come off easily when dry and leave little or no residue, unlike other solutions I've tried. They also catch any stray litter on his paws before it gets tracked out of his litter box area. The backing stops any leaks. They hose off easily and wash well. Despite the fact that they are light weight, they stand up to his litter scratching efforts very well. I can't recommend this product highly enough. Buy two so that you will have a clean one when the other is being washed.

Litter stays on these mats more than any other brand we’ve tried. These are super light weight so they are easy to place/remove. I love that they are washable and waterproof!
