I’ve been waiting for an ELF tinted moisturizer and this does not disappointment. I love the feel when applying and how it wears throughout the day. I took off one star because it can start feeling heavy and thick if you try to build up too much coverage, probably due to the sunscreen in it. That said, I wanted a lighter coverage and more hydration for hot, humid summers. On days I want a little more coverage I just switch my CC cream. My base moisturizer and primer both have sunscreen, so I’d like to see more buildable coverage without caking up if it meant backing off the sunscreen in this. For now, I just forego the primer and it still wears well enough through most of the day. For the price this is a great value.

I am sooo stoked this surfer girl gave ELF a shot. The Halo Glow Skin Tint is everything ILIA was not to me. ILIA was a disaster and this seems to be the answer to my skin issues. This product has a great line of shades and I found a solid match. It has a pleasant smell and does the trick. Coverage is natural and long lasting. Sometimes at the end of the day I have to touch up but at least at this price I can afford to. Woohoo!

I am super picky about foundation but I really liked this one. I've been using ItCosmetics CC cream for several years but wanted to find something more affordable that still had a hydrating feel/dewy finish and SPF - this takes its place, plus the shade seems to be a better match. It is thinner, but I actually think I like that about it.
