There is absolutely NO LOOFA in this product. It's two sheets of perforated plastic sewn together with nothing in between. Not the Earth Therapeutics quality products they used to make.

It's tough finding something that really scrubs into the skin, so I was happy to see that this does just that. As others have said, though, it's definitely not loofah, it's a plastic mesh, but it works about as well as mesh covered sponges.
