Aggressive Eco+ Features
This is my second ecobee thermostat, and I have sensors in several areas around my house as well. Overall, I like the thermostat - it's pretty easy to setup and use. The remote in-room sensors are great because they detect occupancy. I have not been fully bought into the eco+ feature that pre-cools or pre-heats the home to save money, based on your electricity plan. It sound like a great feature, but many times I end up disabling this for the day because the house is too cold or too hot. I am still playing around with the eco+ settings - perhaps it's something I haven't figured out yet. Overall it is a well-built thermostat, better than my previous Nests. The detailed data exports are great for understanding multi-stage fan patterns if you are into that sort of thing.

Great device with an easy improvement for Ecobee t
I’ve had the ecobee for about three weeks now. So far it’s a very good product. My only complaint is that the display auto changes as you approach it. The annoyance is outside temp is hidden when the device detects your proximity effectively removing that important information when you want to see it. I’ve read that you can disable the proximity sensor with a piece of tape, but that isn’t a great solution because I’d like the proxy sensor to work so it knows I’m there. Seems like an easy fix, but Ecobee users have complained about it for years with now change. What I love about the device is that it actively works with my utility to make sure that I get rebates. So far it’s paid for itself with rebates.

It’s installed and working well
Though it took me three weeks to have it installed and my HAC contractor installed a different automated thermostat. I contacted them and had them remove their thermostat and finally install the EcoBe. So far so good it installed on in my Apple Home system.

Compatablity test needs improvement
I have been using my Ecobee Enhanced for almost a month. Once I got it connected properly, it has performed up to and, in one area, exceeded my expectations. The humidity adjustment, which I had been doing manually with my not-so-smart thermostat, works great. It adjusts to run the AC longer at the same temperature to dry the air and keep us comfortable. I had been lowering the temp manually to run the AC for the same purpose. Now it is done automatically and is probably cheaper; the runtime is shorter than with the old system. The initial compatibility test did not address unlabeled wires in the old setup. That missed the last wire, and it controlled the Heatpump. As a result, when I started the AC, it was blowing HOT (105deg F) air. Once we, the Troubleshooter and I, figured out the problem, it ran the AC perfectly.

Love this updated thermostat!
I've had this thermostat for about 3 weeks and it's the best investment I've made. It's accuracy is spot on, program's interface is so easy to use. It connected seamlessly to my wifi and the app is also super easy to use. This thermostat is efficient and helps reduce my utility usage.

Works Great!
Semper Fi Inc. installed the ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced in my living room a little over two weeks ago. In my case it has been excellent to operate a unit which is intended for a single person or family. I was having minor difficulties with the setup until I downloaded the app onto my phone. This immediately helped with the setup.
