My child received the space ship as a 3rd birthday present. She was so enamored that she wanted to spend a gift card on the car. She was able to put it together herself with the large schematic in the box. The drill is obviously the coolest part;)

This is such an adorable set! We love design & drill sets especially the bolt buddies and we already own the truck and rocket ship. My kids (ages 4 & 5.5) had so much fun putting this race car together! I love that they are working on their fine motor skills and also learning how to do simple construction and engineering. The little driver and monkey is absolutely adorable and I love how the monkey is also a wrench. This would be a cute gift for any preschooler or kindergartener. It is definitely a fun way for kids to have fun playing while learning as well.

My little dude loves his Bolt Buddy. After going through it once together, he insisted on doing it himself for round 2 and actually picked it up pretty quickly. He loves tightening the bolts on his "rocket ship", and his concentration face is adorable you guys. It's been a good way during our endless hours of quality family time to get him away from the iPad and learn something valuable. He's my new helper around the house when the tools come out.

This is a really cool toy! My daughter was SO proud of herself for putting this race car together, and really enjoyed playing with what she made after. She is 3 1/2 and for her this toy was challenging without being too difficult. She was getting a little frustrated over the drill bit continually falling out. If this piece fit better I would have given 5 stars!

She's four(almost five) and struggled with some of her fine motor skills. This just wasn't a good fit for her. Super cute though.

My kids loves the design and drill toy! Now that we are home all the time this toy came at the perfect time. You can build and unbuild again. My kids love the kid friendly power drill and make sure you have 3 triple A batteries. I would highly recommend this for ages 3-6!

My five year old son loves fixing up the car. There are so many parts to play with which has kept him entertained for hours. First, he plays mechanic, drilling in the wheels. Then spends time with the figurines and finally starts racing all over the house. Very cute that the box it comes in doubles as a race track and crowd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were very excited to open this package and start playing right away. They had lots of fun figuring out how to build the car. It was easy enough for them to put together. They used to have a very similar toy and we found these pieces to be much sturdier and the car held together really well. The drill worked well in helping screw in the bolts, but FYI it doesn't come with a battery included. My three year old loves the little monkey and driver, but I would not recommend for a child under 2 as our 21 month old kept trying to put the pieces in his mouth. Super happy to have received this product for review purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 year old daughter loves her drill and bolt buddy race car! She constantly goes back to playing with this toy after doing another activity. She loves to take it apart, and put it back together (with help from me). She caught on very quick as to taking the bolts out and take the pieces off, then putting it all back together again. I love how it has an actual functioning drill. The box it comes in also doubles up as a toy the kids can play with their car on. We kept ours as a box though so she has somewhere to put all the bolts and parts when she takes her car apart. Overall great educational toy, no cons about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car is super cute. My 4 year old absolutely loves it. He can sit for awhile taking it apart and putting it together. The box comes with a shop and road on the inside. You flip it inside out and away you go. The car comes with a money passenger and the driver which you can turn his head and then he is the worker. My daughter who is 2 also likes to play with it. She will take it apart some and put it together. The screws can go in any of the holes which is nice.

First off my kid loves to help make things and with this car he is able to put it together himself with only a small amount of help from me. Not only can he put it together but he can take it apart. I think his favorite thing was using the drill that came with it because instead of trying to get Daddy's tools, he now has his own! My son loves the little people he gets to stick in the car and it rolls around well on carpet and hardwood flooring. I liked how this isn't a normal toy car because its larger which makes it easier to find, and it's more interactive for my little one. I would definitely recommend this to parents of boys AND girls.

He thought it was so cool the box could be u folded and flipped inside out for a playset. He just finished putting it together about 20 minutes ago and is fascinated with using the drill to take it apart and put it back together multiple times already. Now he's trying to find other things he can "fix" with the drill. It's a great motor skills activity for him and a fun way to extend his therapy sessions at home. It took him only a couple minutes to put it together. They toy itself has no cons from me but our product was missing a bolt so in order to put the car together, we had to remove the bolt from inside the racer buddy. We received the Design & Drill Bolt Buddies Race Car as a bzzagent campain

He figured out how to assemble and disassemble immediately and has played with it almost every day since arriving. Only con is it does not come with batteries so we had to go to the store to purchase and want able to use as soon as it arrived. Overall great educational and fun toy.
