I purchased two of these changing tents. I don't accept free items in return for reviews so when I write a review it's because I bought it and used it myself.

This item was to our happy surprise a littler bigger than we thought. Great product, comes with a few extras, sand bags, stakes, a rain cover, nylon floor. Perfect for an outdoor privacy/shower shelter.

Tent is lightweight and easy to fold up. Going to use this when docked this boating season as well at poolside

Quality Alvantor product. Well made and sturdy. Private (no see thru!) and roomy changing room. Plenty of head room, Nearly 7’ tall. Extremely easy set up (Pops Up!) quick take down/fold up. Provides plenty of privacy. Highly recommend this item!

The tent is very compact when folded, light and portable. Opening it was very easy and storing went just as smooth. We’re using it for privacy during the winter and a hot tub, but this will be very practical come summer around the pool when we need to move it around to accommodate the amount of people we have over.

We have a 15 foot vintage camper that we took south to escape the brutal winters of the north. We soon discovered that we didn’t have enough space for what we bought since we arrived. This has been a life saver. We used it as a potty room at first, then as an area to put the dog food in, then the extra water and a small refrigerator and microwave in. It is holding up very well here in windy Arizona. It is serving us well. Glad we found it.

I use this for camping and was able to put my toilet and shower in it. It is definitely spacious.

Proper amount of space, very good quality, more attractive color--very functional both for covid situation and prolonged camping.Easy to set up; take-down takes practice but doable, and stores inconvenient circular case. Cap for top when raining or cold.

Easy to set up, fairly easy to fold back up, if you follow the directions and put some muscle into it. Takes two people to put the safety strap back on it. Used it for snow camping and it gave us a dry place to use the bathroom. So far, it is worth the money spent.

We have used this tent on camping trips and it works really great. It is easy to set up and take down it is very roomy and you can't see through it.

We bought this Oct 2019. We camp year-round at least 6x per year. We've tried all different privy tents. We use it for with a toilet and use a Mr. Heater Buddy inside. Perfect for the cold camp mornings! The Alvantor has great features: thick fabric, screen top, clear rain fly, wide at top and white outside. It is easy to change inside and sturdy enough to hang some clothes while changing.Cons: The worst part is it is extremely difficult to fold up. I've folded up other similar tents without much trouble. They make it look so easy with the clips-- but it is not. Also, when setting up, the bottom wants to fold in under it's self and fall over. To stop this from happening, we always stake out the bottom floor loops and the guy-lines (8 stakes total). I would recommend upgrading the 8 stakes.This one is starting to wear out-- not from poor construction but from rough use. I would buy again. There is not another tent with these great features-- just wish it was easier to fold.

Got this for a friend in a wheelchair for doing all things private, including delivering IV meds and changing clothes and having a bath. She travels and cannot go to public places of any kind, so needed a way to get privacy while on the road. She has used this inside the house for a bath in the kitchen, on the deck to work in the shade, and on trips to use the loo and change clothes. This absolutely does the job, with two exceptions.I wanted a pop-up without a bunch of poles (this is), that had light (this has a “skylight”), that can be secured (this has stakes, that do need to be used if possible), that had air (this does), that has a pocket for “stuff” (this does), that had a separate tarp for the bottom (this does) and did NOT have a built-in bottom (this does not) which does nothing but collect dirt that has to be shaken out, and that can be kept warm with a heater (this can), but not too hot in the sun (the white exterior reflects light). I wanted a way for her to keep stuff and coolers etc. out of the sun and rain as well. This does it all.The exceptions:1. The rim at the bottom prevents a wheelchair from rolling in, BUT you can press it down with your foot, or keep it down with two garden pins to let a wheelchair over the transom. It’s light enough to drop over a wheelchair, too.NOTE TO MANUFACTURERS AND DESIGNERS: PLEASE make a pop-up tent like this that allows for wheelchair access!!! Please? This would be useful to people using walkers, too!2. Please make one with a flap that can be opened by someone in a wheelchair. This requires the flap to be rolled up and secured high — and the snap loop is functional but too small to be extra easy to use so please make the loop longer. If it was a side flap, it could be pulled to the side and managed by someone in a walker or wheelchair by themselves.3 (true for all pop ups): Someone in a wheelchair cannot put this up herself. It will require help.TIPS:To provide shade over the top with or without the rain cover, cut a piece of landscape fabric to drape over the top and connect it to the four corner cords with a large safety pin (not as a pin but as a “ring”).Pay attention to how you unfold it the first time so you have an idea of how to fold it back again.Cut a piece of mosquito net to drape over the front so you can keep the front “door” open to let light in without the bugs.Set it up right away outside so you’re familiar with it, and adjust the lines so they are where you’d want them in actual use.Cut several pieces of tarp for underneath for various purposes: so you can stake them down if you need to, use new ones while old ones are in the “to be cleaned” pile, and jerry rig one so it can be secured UP against the tent and under a tent fly so rain doesn’t get in from under.Get a large lightweight tarp with grommets to cover the top like a rain fly and be able to stake it away from the tent and over any ground tarp.Get some big butterfly hair clips so those with compromised strength can keep things secure, like the flaps and nets.

I used the portable tent on a slightly windy day on the beach. You need two people to set it up properly. You have to bury the stakes deep so they won't come out of the ground. The privacy of the was good. Folding the tent was a challenge. You should practice setting it up and taking it down before use.

This is the only quality tent of its kind on the market. The material is thick and sturdy. Directions on the bag tell you exactly how to fold it down. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's an easy pop up and take down. I use the tent for changing when camping, and to set up as a bathroom next to my car. My dog likes to snuggle inside. Also great customer service. The carry bag broke and the company was quick to send me a new one. I am very happy with this purchase.

It’s easy to set up and tricky to fold up.

Very easy to set up. Downside, doesn’t have a place to hang stuff from. Like a light or a shower head. Has a hole to run a shower head to it but where do you hang it?
