EKO 10L Resin Motion Sensor Can

Honestly, I was surprised with the fact that the trash can came with it's own bags. The color matches perfectly with our bathroom. It's simple to use and it fits perfectly where I need it. The lifting mechanism works excellent. Fortunately for me, I had some batteries for it. The width and height are good for the application needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the EKO Resin motion sensor trash can. It’s so convenient to have in small spaces. I have it in a tight area in my bathroom, and I still have room in between the toilet and trash. The look is very modern/farmhouse which looks nice as opposed to other brands that look more like a bucket, so it’s as stylish as you can get for a trash can. The EKO brand made a good decision adding the opening and closing sensor. Nobody wants to see other people’s trash, so this makes it private, and all scents will be kept to a minimum. You’re not limited to the bathroom. Put it on the side of your bed, or even on top of a Vanity table to throw makeup wipes, sharpening of pencils, under a desk at work, Basically anything! Nobody usually comments that a trash can is cute, but if you were to do that, this would be the one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first sensor trashcan, and we are in love. It senses us easily every time we wave our hand over the lid and it magically opens for us. The trigger is not too sensitive and opens with a single wave each time. The motor is whisper quiet, it barely makes any sound at all. The compact design fits perfectly in our bathroom, but would make a perfect bedside or small office trash bin as well. It has a sleek and modern design without being too industrial, it’s still adds a nice touch to our home while looking clean and sharp. I love the battery operation for this can, we don’t have to worry about plugging it in to charge or running out of charge when you need it most! There’s even a smart bin liner lid that keeps bags from slipping off the edge and falling into the bin. It keeps things nicely where they should be. I love that this keeps us germ-free and tidy. We want one for every room!

I received this complimentary for my honest review. I love that it has a sensor for the lid to hide ugly trash especially in a work space. It’s mechanism isn’t loud so it won’t disrupt anyone around you. The height is within perfect reach if when sitting in an average height chair. You don’t have to bend down to throw away things. My unit included a pack of trash bags, so bonus! This could also work for a small bathroom if you’re looking for something like this. I’m taking off one star because the top/removable portion is not very secure so it can be knocked over easily or displaced if you bump into it a little too hard. Other than that, it’s size is perfect, it’s practical and does what is says it does. It would be a good purchase.

Even in low light the trash can would still open if I waved my hand over it. The timer for opening and closing is appropriate, and it's not loud. I would probably enjoy this product more if it was larger. I think this would probably work better maybe in the kitchen used as a trash can for organics, but I would only be worried about it getting wet on the inside.

I will say that I had to move its location because it kept spontaneously opening in a higher traffic area. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying. Virtually no assembly needed (just pop in the included trash bag!) and easy to swap out bags. I’d get another if I could figure out the perfect spot.

I noticed this trash can was breaking, I put it next to the table, and since it reacts to movement, it always opened and closed by itself.

As you can see on the picture I have pee pads on the floor for my puppy and this makes it easy to clean up and prevent smells from spreading. Also keeping the pup away for wondering into the trash. This trash can is the perfect size for small spaces. The sensor works fine would like that I didn’t have to bend so much to get the sensitive to work other than that this is amazing
