Holes in the bottom!!!
I had ordered the 3 gallon size of this trash can on Amazon for my bathroom and loved it. When I saw that they had a 13 gallon size for my kitchen I immediately ordered it on Amazon. When I received it, to my shock, it had holes in the bottom of it. The 3 gallon size did not have holes in the bottom. I don't know on what planet a manufacturer of trash cans would think it’s a great idea to put holes in the bottom of a trash can that would attract bugs, not contain the odors, and would allow liquid to leak onto the floor if the bag were to get punctured. When I found the item on Target’s website, after speaking with NINESTARS customer Service they assured me that their product had no holes in the bottom. I was very excited because this is the only copper colored steel motion sensor 13 gallon trash can on the market. I made sure to ask the question again under this item’s description. A "brand expert” responded and said this: “A: Hi. No perforations in the steel shell or bucket. It's a fully enclosed container, nothing that would allow bugs to enter from underneath or sides. Hope this clears things up, Take care. Nine Stars Brand expert” They clearly don't know their own product or they lied. As soon as I opened it that was the first thing I checked and sure enough there are four holes that go straight through to the floor on the bottom of the trash can! I am so upset with this company. There is nothing good that will come from having holes in the bottom of a trash can. The entire purpose of a trash can is to contain the trash and odors, keep bugs out, and contain any spills if they were to happen. Holes in the bottom defeat the entire purpose of the concept. My family has owned a garbage disposal service for over 100 years and I have seen the horrors of what a poorly designed or faulty trash can will cause. Needless to say I am returning this! Buyer beware!! This is a joke of a company and product to do something like this!!! 🤬🤦🏽♀️😤👎🏽
