A: Well I checked this website for a replacement lid… yeah they sell it BUT after shipping costs, buying a replacement lid will cost approx. $16. You can buy a whole new garbage can with a new lid for $21…. Just felt like sharing ;-)

Cheapiah just considering all it does is hold a trash bag for you ig. Idk who is so lucky they get to design something like this. Doesnt bleed the extra air under the bad so of course youll always have to make a small hole in the bag or waste your time playing around with the trash can so you can use it properly. Ive already got so angry i smashed up my second one today. Its not something I look forward to dealin with everyday

This is a basic trashcan at a very reasonable price. A 13 gal trash bag fits tightly around the trashcan so it will not slip off. The lid closes firmly with a nice seal. Seems very durable.

The lid doesn't snap on or attach at all, it just kind of perches on top. The whole trash can rocks and flops around wildly when you open the lid if it isn't full. The size overall is significantly smaller than my old trash can which was also 13 Gallons (hmm). You have to remove the entire lid assembly every time you take out the trash, adding several steps to what should be a simple task. That last thing was the kicker, will have to return this. Can't deal. With a family, I take out the trash a LOT, I'm not disassembling this thing (taking the lid assembly off and on again) every single time, are you kidding me?

Yes the lid locks in the front of the can BUT the entire lid can easily be lifted up from the side or back. If you have a dog that can reach it that feature is completely useless! It wobbles, it always did. The gray plastic lock also broke rendering the whole trash can useless. Spend a little extra so you don’t have to replace it in 3 months.
