A: Well I checked this website for a replacement lid… yeah they sell it BUT after shipping costs, buying a replacement lid will cost approx. $16. You can buy a whole new garbage can with a new lid for $21…. Just felt like sharing ;-)

Did its job but the handle broke after almost 5 months of use. So now it's completely useless because the lid stays open. I'm bummed because it was ready to use and had a good design while it lasted.

Lid broke after 6 months
Bought this to replace a more expensive Simple Human trash can we were less than thrilled with. We loved this trash can… for 6 months. Then the silver clasp on the lid broke, keeping our trash can in a permanent open position. Supposedly replacement lids are available from the manufacturer, but with S&H, cost 2/3 the price of a new trash can. SIGH. 😔

The GOAT
This is the best trash can I've ever used in my entire life. Where do I begin? The top of the can is the perfect size to hold up a 13 gallon trash bag without needing to tie it. I never need to worry about the bag falling down. The lid seals tight with a silicone gasket, keeping odors in and flies out. Even when we stuff it full of trash, the bin is perfectly shaped so that the bag comes right out. No struggle. The lid is easy to remove when it's time to put a new bag in. We usually cook at home and eat a lot of fresh fish. This has been a game changer for maintaining a clean, fly-free, and odor-free kitchen, especially in an apartment where we need to keep the trash inside until pickup.

Sick of this can
Cheapiah just considering all it does is hold a trash bag for you ig. Idk who is so lucky they get to design something like this. Doesnt bleed the extra air under the bad so of course youll always have to make a small hole in the bag or waste your time playing around with the trash can so you can use it properly. Ive already got so angry i smashed up my second one today. Its not something I look forward to dealin with everyday
