Q: Do I need to turn the trash can on each time I use it? I turn the trash can on, blue lights flash- wave hand it opens and in 5 seconds closes. Then doesn't work. I've checked battery placement.

    I got this on sale but would pay full price. It came with the liner insert and well as it has a power off switch and uses AA so more convient than keeping big batteries on hand. The lid closure has a countdown. It is not a smooth finish like stainless steel so it would take a little more effort to clean if your messy.
