Powered trash can
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use motion sensor trash can. Has a 3 second timer until it closes on its own. Battery powered. Fits in a great spot in my kitchen for easy access. Very durable and makes a great new toy for the kitchen.

Great for an automatic trash can
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pop 4 AA batteries in, turn on the switch (in the back), and it's ready. The sensor works very well, and there are manual buttons to open and close in the off chance the sensor doesn't work. They don't work without active batteries which can be a bummer. This is roughly the same size as my old bin, so it will hold the same capacity as a manual can. I found no difference between this and a manual bin in terms of sturdiness. Not bad for an automatic bin. Just gotta make certain your batteries work because there didn't seem to be another option to open without removing the lid.

Sleek and Modern
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good trashcan, easy to setup, came with starter liners which was great. Sensor is quite responsive, opens and closes the lid quickly. Capacity is 40-60 liters, decent and ample, not bulky but just right, adding a full pull out tray would have been nice.

Quiet and simple to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an incentivized but honest review. This is the first sensor trash can I have tried, and it is easy to use. Setup is as simple as placing the garbage liner inside, adding batteries, and flipping a switch. No programming is needed, it is already set to open when hovering your hand over the top, and it stays open until the blue lights count down. You can push the buttons on the front to keep it open longer, but I haven't had any need for it. As far as noise, this trash can is very quiet when opening and closing, with no noise otherwise. You can use the EKO brand garbage bags in size F, but regular 13 gallon kitchen bags work as well.

This trashcan takes your kitchen into the 21st cen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Automatic trashcans are LIVESAVERS. We used to have a step can (step on the pedal to open the lid) but it was constantly banging on our wall when it opened. This trashcan has an automatic open and close, so you just wave your hand and voila - open sesame! It's not super-sensitive which I like because we have a lot of kitchen traffic and I don't want it opening every 3 minutes. It's quiet, holds a lot, and is easy to change the bag. It also has a ring along the inside that you tuck the bag into so you don't see it at all on the exterior. Very sleek. The only downside is this is batteries only (4 AAs) and I would have liked a plug-in option - but battery life seems good so we'll see how long it goes before the first change. Great product!!

Sleek, Durable, and High Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sensor on this trash can is a little over eager! Every time I walk by, the lid pops open like it's greeting me! It was slightly startling until I got used to it. Now I expect all my trash cans to open up when I am near! Even though the sensor is overactive and opens every time I walk by, the motor and hinges aren't showing any signs of strain. It's been cycling dozens of times and the mechanism still feels as sturdy and smooth as day one. A nice surprise was the included pack of liner bags. While the packaging is in a different language and uses their "Code F" sizing, I tested with my regular 13 gallon drawstring bags and they fit perfectly.

Compact, efficient and streamlined- great for smal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the EKO Horizon Lite SS Sensor Trash Can a lot; it's convenient to use and it has more capacity than my old bin while being more compact. The only quirks I've run into are that sometimes it seems like the sensor reaction time is a tiny bit on the slow side. That said, if you are not moving a million miles an hour like I usually am, it's probably perfectly fine 😂. I really appreciate being sent this product to review, it's a great product.

No mess trash!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this trash can! It is our 1st hands free battery operated trash can. The stainless steel base is beautiful, sturdy and easily holds a full size trash bag. The lid requires 4 AA batteries and has an on/off switch in case you want to save the battery life. Our dog gets into the trash and our three kids touch everything so this is perfect for our family.

Can't to Thank your Kitchen Trash Can Daily?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now say "thank you" to my kitchen garbage can. It's amazing in life how we took advantage of the courtesy of doormen, bathroom attendants, elevator operators, and the service industry as a whole. If I, however, have my hand over my new trash bin, I don't have to think about what it was just touching in there. I wave, it opens, and i can't stop myself from saying "thank you" to an animate, inanimate object. If I accidentally set it off, I apologize to it, too. I do have to warn you. It does run out of batteries every 2-3 weeks, but it runs on AA batteries. If your hands have just been in chicken, no running for the bleach wipes. You don't have to santize your hands into cracks to avoid someone elses bad hygiene. Just wave, and your trash can will open, you will toss in what you have and hurry to the sink to wash your hands. Your trash can make sure no one spreads Salmonella today.

Motion-activated trash can is worth it! 🗑️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sensor trash can is easy to open with just a wave and self closes. You need to remove the entire lid to add and change the bag, but it’s simple to do. The top seems a little flimsy but it’s holding up well. It holds 13 gallons of trash which is the standard for kitchen trash cans.

Love this can
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this can . Clean don’t show fingerprints and perfect size. The inner frame allows for the bag to stay up but not hang over the top of the can so it looks clean and fresh

Obsessed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m obsessed with this. I’ve never had an automatic trash can and it’s a game changer. I love not touching anything. I love that it’s so quiet. I love that it uses batteries so nothing has to be plugged in. And it’s slim enough to fit in a tight spot in my small kitchen. Also it came with its own trash bags which I thought was a nice touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Eko Sensible Eco Living Horizon Lite Sensor Bin is one of its kind! The lid works wonderfully. You do need 4 AA batteries in the installation process. The material of the bin is light weight but mighty. It helps keep the smell inside the bin. The stability of the bin is great.

New addition to the kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I immediately swapped out our trash can for this one. It does have a smaller opening for larger items you toss, and it can get annoying to wait for the lid to open. It’s easy to remove the top to remove your bag, so cleaning is very minimal. The sensor is a bit sensitive, so I wonder how long the batteries will last. Haven’t wanted to replace it with our old one yet, so it’s been good so far. My other one was super heavy and this isn’t so I like how much lighter it is if I need to wash it out.

Great trash can!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty touchless trash can has been so nice! We’ve been using it in our backyard when we cook on our Blackstone. Having a hands free option has been super convenient. It’s the perfect size and looks great in our outdoor and indoor space. Having the wide opening is really nice too! (Influenster sent me this product in exchange for an honest review)

Never thought I would love a trashcan this much!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] didn't think I'd ever give up my Simplehuman step-on trash can, but this one won me over. The motion sensor is incredibly responsive just a quick hand hover and it opens, and it stays open as long as you need it, which is perfect when you're cooking or cleaning. One of my favorite features is that there's no inner removable bin. At first I wasn't sure, but it actually makes changing the bag so much easier. You just put the bag straight in no more trying to sandwich it between the liner and the can. Overall, it’s more convenient, less fussy, and surprisingly a big upgrade in every day use
