Used it 1 time and it quit working

This is worth reviewing #1) in the description, Target states this blanket is Oeko-Tex certified, BUT packaging does not. A certification like that will always be displayed on the tag of the item itself or at the very least, on the packaging. There is no certainty it is. I called the company and customer service response was based on what the website stated, she was not certain. #2) The detailed description, the packaging and on the Company’s website states that there is virtually no EMF’s, and after checking with my own meter, it is my opinion that this blanket is worse than holding a phone charger! I will be returning.

I got this for my mom who’s always cold. She loved it!! It’s so nice, soft, and she says it’s perfectly warm!

Took it out the package and didn’t warm up at all only blinks. Worst purchase ever.

It was simple and easy to use, and it has safety features that allow you to not have to worry about turning it off. It gets hot very fast and was able to keep me warm for cold nights easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beauty rest heated plush throw is insanely soft to the touch. The throw is easy to turn on and warm up right away. It has 3 heat settings to adjust to your liking. And turns off within a certain amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heated throw is SO soft and comfortable! My kids and I use it every day! It fits two of us comfortably! It's a very pretty emerald color! I like that it has a low, medium and high switch. You do have to be careful to keep the blanket fairly flat because when it's bunched up, it will get pretty warm in some spots. It comes with instructions on how to use it (not that you need it, but it's all good information to know, for safety purposes!) We love it and can't wait to use it all winter long!

I absolutely LOVE how soft this throw is!! The heating element on it is amazing! It gets nice and toasty!! It also has a low setting to so you don't over heat. Im so happy I have this for the upcoming fall and winter seasons!!!

It's soft and comfortable even without the heating element on but when the air gets to cold and I put the heater on it warms up quickly and it's nice and toasty.

We got this blanket for him to use when they come visit so we don't have to turn on the heat and make the rest of the family melt. He likes it a lot! My mother-in-law likes that it has 2 seperate controls so she can't set her side to whatever she wants and he can set his side to Sahara Desert. And I don't have to listen to him complain about being cold so that's the best selling point to me.

You can feel the wires throughout the blanket, and at first I thought it might make it less comfortable, but I was so wrong. When I used it for the first time it was in the middle of the day and I almost fell asleep because it was so warm and soft and cozy. As plush as it is, and especially because of the wires and cords, I also expected it to be heavy, but it is actually really light. The dual controls are perfect for the queen size, because my husband and I can each have our own temperatures going at the same time. It has 20 heat settings, several time settings, a preheat option, and sleep settings so that you are able to adjust it to however you need it to be. I'm very impressed with this heated blanket. Plush, soft, lightweight, and so many control options. This is a really great blanket!

When I’m feeling under the weather, I plug it in and it heats me right up. Plus the color is beautiful and it’s big enough for my king size bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had plenty of heated blankets in the past that were clearly much worse in quality than this one! At the time I thought those were my only options. Other brands run very small despite advertising, and are always made from super scratchy and stiff materials. You won’t find that here! I have the queen sized blanket and it’s a generous queen size which is so fantastic because it actually fits my bed completely, so completely that despite all my tossing and turning in the night never once left my toes or feet exposed to the colder night temps outside of my bedding! The blanket is so soft I can thoroughly sleep throughout the night in sheer bliss! I have insomnia for every reason you can imagine but this blanket, even when it isn’t being used with its heating function can put me right to sleep over the gentle fabrics! On the subject of heating this blanket, I’m actually blown away at the temperature this can successfully reach! I personally couldn’t imagine sleeping with this thing at the highest heat setting, I would wake up absolutely suffocating in sweat for sure! This may sound like a complaint but it couldn’t be farther from the truth! The high heats can successfully heat your bed prior to even crawling into it, quickly, and keep your bed your own personal toaster oven even if you completely unplug it afterwards! The primary complaint that I had with this blanket though is that there’s two controllers you’d need to operate the whole blanket which would have been fine except it’s pretty clear the larger size is made for couples, since you can individually set your heat settings per controller aka: per side! For asexual persons like me this is a bit frustrating since there’s no other setting that enables this blanket for single persons use. In order to use this by myself I’m forced to both plug in and operate both controllers otherwise only one half of the whole blanket will heat which is not my favorite function. All in all though, it’s such a small issue when considering all other factors involved that I still feel it’s worth every five stars I’ve given it!
