Q: What would cause the power button area to blink off and on? I have to unplug it to get it to stop. I’ve only had the throw for 4 days, so maybe I got a defective one?

A: I have had mine for a week and am having the same issue. The lights keep blinking. It was so good before this! Ugh!

The camping heated blankets are much more expensive but since the reviews say this one stops working if you clean it, then I think I’d rather spend on one that I can use both in the house or if I go out for a game. I’m glad the question was asked.

Q: Does anyone know why all of a sudden it shut off and the second and fourth buttons on the power box are blinking? I’ve had it less than a week. Yesterday I couldn’t even get it to turn on.

A: Hi, same issue. I fixed mine by connecting the blanket connector first, before plugging into the wall outlet. I recall the instructions mentioning this but didn't think much of it until now.

This is the actual item that I bought, and this is the actual item that I received. Although the description says it's "50 x 60"... NO WAY IN HECK IS IT 50 X 60. MAYBE it's 40 X 40, if that. However I'll say this, it works great. My goal was to use this on my bed, but it's more like the picture, a wrap for cozy couch sitting, not for my full size bed. That is why I've given it the rating; if this was the size they say it is, it would have received 5 stars from me.

Heat doesn’t distribute evenly. Only part of the blanket heats up by the power button. The rest never gets warm at all. Such a waste of money. This blanket is way to expensive for it to not work properly

I used this blanket twice and now it won’t turn on! No abnormal use. It was never plugged in for extended times. It worked fine last night, and I went to plug it in today, and now it’s not working at all.

great sized blanket! the fabric is soft and the internal heating wires dont make it feel stiff or pokey. It has 4 different heat levels, and an auto-shut off which is great if youre like me and forget to turn it off often. The cord is a little cumbersome and bulky and the blanket doesnt retain heat super well unless it has a thin throw overtop of it, but overall a great product and worth the money. I've had this blanket for about a year now with no issues! my cat loves it too, to the point where she yells at me if its not on when she wants to nap.

Heat does not distribute evenly and not at all in some places. I had it spread out flat no kinks so it could warm but it didn't. Feel the wires alot not cushy. Not worth price mine was probably defective but if it wasnt it is still overpriced for the comfort aspect. Would not recommend!!!

I’m going to assume that this doesn’t heat well because the package it was delivered in was crushed. If this is performing as it should, it’s disappointing to say the least. It barely gets warm. It’s soft and pretty cozy, but not what I was expecting.

I like to put it underneath other blankets and turn it on ten minutes before snuggling up in bed. The room we use it in is particularly cold, and this blanket makes us forget that. The cord can be a little bulky, and the button can be easily bumped to turn the blanket on/off accidentally, so I flip the blanket upside down so that both the cord and switch are at the end of the bed, out of the way. No more accidentally pressing the button! Boy is it warm, too. It heats up nicely and doesn’t get overly hot.

The only thing stopping me from giving this throw 5 stars is the thickness. It’s a bit too thin for my liking. However it is soft and has the perfect temperature settings and the automatic shutoff is key for me. I also love that the temp setting is on the blanket not the cord.
