Storage, I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen for it. So I kind of tucked it away in my storage room, and I am so scared that it is never going to be pulled out again.Because I just couldn't store it anywhere in my kitchen.

The instruction booklet for use of the machine is clear and makes the machine even more user friendly. There are multiple ice cream recipes to choose from. Most of them have quite a few ingredients but it was totally worth it. We made some of the best tasting ice cream, and it freezes so well. The machine is a bit noisy when it's running but it's not overbearing. All of the parts are also light weight, making it easier to assemble. We can't wait to make another recipe.

It has various parts it’s easy to assemble as they’re big pieces. It’s powerful and gets the job done. I love that they include recipes I tried out the pistachio one it was delicious. You would need a significant amount of ice and need to buy rock salt. It was fun to use and makes a good amount of ice cream for the family.

I am rating this four stars because there was slight leakage and took a very long time to churn. I followed all instructions properly including soaking the bucket, and my custard took almost 2 hours to churn to completion. However, it turned out delicious! Once it’s set up it’s super easy to use, just turn on and leave it and check back for salt and ice levels. This machine fits in a regular apartment sink, which was very convenient however it was pretty messy trying to clean up just due to the large size in an apartment. If you make large quantities of ice cream regularly this is a great machine.

It works great .Making delicious creamy homemade ice cream every time. It’s simple to set up and use, I also like that we can take it camping and still make ice cream. If you want a reliable machine that also brings some old-fashioned charm to your kitchen, the only thing is the bucket does leak but I'm hoping after a few uses it will close up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely LOVE the Elite Gourmet 6 Quart Ice Cream Maker! It works so well and is easy to use and clean (y husband has hand washed the internal parts for the ice cream maker versus putting them in the dishwasher). The recipe book that come with the ice cream maker is great. I think the ice cream turns out better when you heat the ingredients first and then chill before making ice cream. If I had to find one negative, it would be the size. This thing is HUGE, which makes storing it difficult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wooden electric ice cream maker is adorable. It feels really well made too, with the exceptions being the metal latch and the plastic handle. I really wish that they had put a wooden handle on this because the plastic just makes it not look authentic. You do have to fill this out with water before your first use. Do not forget to do that. Your bucket will leak if you do not. I actually went ahead and put my ice cream maker in a bucket when I started to use it just because I really wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to have a watery mess on my hands. Can confirm my bucket was watertight. For the actual churning part, I did not try the hand crank. I actually messed up the first time that I made ice cream with this electric mixer. I let my ingredients get too warm, you need to chill them after you mix them all together. This will save you from having fluffy and airy ice cream. It took my mixer over 2 and 1/2 hours my first time because I didn't chill my ingredients. Learn from my mistake. This ice cream maker also only turns the metal bucket and not the plastic piece inside. That piece only turns if you use the hand crank. So don't think that your machine is broken if it's not turning. I've definitely had ice cream makers that are loud and grating and while this one is loud, it's not overbearing. I could still talk to people with a regular voice. Overall, I really like this elite gourmet old fashioned ice cream maker and I can't wait to make more ice cream with it.
