Ellery Luxe Nightstand - Threshold™

These are cute nightstands that provide a great deal of additional storage. I would say the quality is good for the price. My only issue was with assembly. Both nightstands arrived with broken pieces, which target replaced, but the process took about a month. Once I had everything to assemble, I found one of the nightstands had a piece that was not cut precisely. I had to extend some pre-drilled slots myself, very carefully, and managed to not crack anything. This was the second one I built, so I am confident I put everything together correctly. The directions were easy to follow. The end result is fine, and maybe I just got unlucky. But if you're in a hurry and not looking for a challenge, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great looking nightstands. Sturdy and perfect size. However…the off gassing is severe!! I had to place them in my garage and they continue to smell horrific.

The off gassing smell on this is terrible. 1 week and we’ve kept this on our front porch and still smells awful. It’s cute. But the safety concerns are huge with infant and toddler, let alone anyone inhaling whatever chemical is on this thing. Already assembled so going to try to work with Target on a refund… do not buy if health is main concern!

Very nice bedside cabinet. Good size, nice height and finish. Easy assembly, looks far more expensive than it actually cost. Highly recommended.

I love the size of the nightstand, the width and depth of the drawers are great, I can put a lot of stuffs in there. The bottom drawer has a good height that provides flexibility of putting boxes inside. The drawers are also very easy to glide in and out with a pretty sturdy bottom. It took about an hour to assemble because there is many parts to put together. The finished nightstand looks really modern with the details of gold paint. I love the look and how practical this nightstand can be. I wish they also have the matching vertical dresser.

This is a well-made, elegant nightstand. The bronze finish on the drawer handles and the gold finish on the legs add a luxurious look that I would expect to find in on a nightstand in a high-end furniture store. The drawers have a nice depth and open and close with ease. I am using it in my home office, and it looks gorgeous. The only issue with this product was that there were a couple of hiccups in assembly. The illustration for Step 8 (assembling wedges) in the instruction booklet is not clear that the wedges need to be placed on the back of the nightstand. The screws needed to complete Step 11 (assembling the drawer) were too short because the countersink holes in the top drawer were not drilled deep enough. I had to find longer screws that I owned to replace them. The countersink holes in the bottom drawer were drilled deep enough to use the screws that came with the nightstand. Despite the assembly issues, this is a beautiful nightstand. It’s definitely another winner in the Threshold furniture line.

The Ellery Luxe Nightstand is a beautiful piece for your home! The metal hardware makes this nightstand look super high end. It has nice deep drawers for storage alongside your bed or just set in a corner to display home decor. The black color is a true black. The veneer is on the thinner side so I’m concerned it’s going to chip easy. I would trust the finish on this one to look good for many years to come. It did take around an hour to put together. The drawer fittings are a newer style and a bit odd to say the least. Not sure why they decided to switch to these but it made things more interesting to put the drawers together. The upside is the drawer depth, the downside is the veneer finish.

I love this Threshold Nightstand! It has a classic and couture design! It is very sturdy! Also, it is easy to assemble! An affordable price for a high quality product! I am incredibly impressed! Above and beyond customer satisfaction!

Great nightstand! Looks good in person! This is very well packaged when delivered. However, it does take some time to get it unboxed because it is so well packaged! Plan on it taking 10-15 minutes to unbox everything, unwrap all the pieces & lay all the pieces out to get ready to assemble. Lay them out with letter sticker identifiers facing up. Next it does come in 17 pieces. Took us 1 hour 15 minutes to fully assemble this, which was a lot longer than expected. Helps to have more than one person assembling. Would also help to have an electric screwdriver, we used a manual one which took a lot of time. The directions show pictures and words however, some of it was a little difficult to figure out. Once put together, it does seem pretty sturdy. Was a shorter than expected. Take into account if you have a boxspring as well as the height of your bed. I like the two drawers for storage (bottom one is larger than top one) and the drawer/pull hardware along with the metal legs. The finish is a shiny matte finish so it does show some fingerprints. All in all this is a great decorative nightstand, or it could be used at the end of the couch as a cute side table! Just be sure to read the actual size dimensions and plan time for assembly!
