Q: Is the frame black or brown?

A: Katrina is mistaken. Pewter is a grayish silver metallic finish. The box it arrived in even said burnished black. It's a copper base with a putrid black/brown painted all over it. Promptly sealed and returned.

DO NOT BUY
I was excited for this bed frame as it is beautiful and looks exactly like the picture. it was also very easy to assemble, however, I have had it less than a year and it has caused nothing but problems. The design was poorly executed and it's honestly better to save your money. the middle "legs" are shorter than the main 4 legs and tilt with every toss and turn. We are having to repair to bed frame ourselves because it was made with cheap materials. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS.

Fragile bed - Broke in 5 months
This bed broke after less than 5 months of use. We are an active couple. I got this bed because it appeared sturdy.

Great looking bed
Easy assembly. Attractive. Industrial. Modern and minimalist. Appears sturdy. It’s in the guest bedroom so I’ve not used it yet. But I love the look.

Good quality easy to assemble
Very pleased with this bed. Well packaged, easy to assembly and reasonably priced. I was concerned that the middle brace legs don’t touch the ground but once you lay down they do.

Impressive
I have looked for a metal bed for over a year. I finally chose this one and am so happy that I did! It arrived quickly, was packaged wonderfully and the assembly was so easy! This is a solid, unique piece that doesn’t squeak, slide or move. I also love the color which is more of a bronze which I wanted. This is a great purchase!!

Solid structure
It was fairly easy to put together came with simple instructions and tools. Has a nice solid finish and takes up less room then my previous bed frame.

Chic, modern and high quality bed frame
So pleased with this product! The bed frame is very sturdy and high quality. The box is quite heavy, so definitely a 2 person job to move it. In my opinion, a sturdy(ie heavy) bed frame is a good thing! No one wants a flimsy bed. But putting the frame together couldn’t have been easier. All in all, it only took about 30 minutes to put the whole thing together, start to finish. I love the finished look and my teenage son is very happy with his new bed!
