Great taste good shake but I was allergic to the sunflower in the ingredients, i got a severe rash on my eyes and it went away when I stopped the shakes.I am allergic to seeds so it is most likely that.just know your allergies and read all the ingredients.

I drank ensure for 10+ years due to autism and eating disorder to gain and keep weight. However, several years ago I developed very severe lactose intolerance and was no longer able to digest the regular ensure. So I was thrilled when I saw that Ensure had come out with a completely lactose-free version. It is good enough for me, but I really wish it tasted more like the regular version, especially the dark chocolate ensure plus (and wish it also had more protein and calories like the plus). I am only drinking it for lactose intolerance, I don't care about vegan or vegetarian or the other features. I wish it had real extra sugar instead of Stevia which makes it taste off. After all, I'm drinking it so I don't get underweight and I need the calories.

The vanilla tastes great ice cold. I'm not allowed to have salt (sodium) at all it causes crazy swelling all over especially in my feet and legs. I have stopped drinking it. Try making it without salt.

My wife had a slap-tear shoulder injury. Orthopedic Dr gave her a Cortesone shot in her neck for pain but it spread causing her to lose the ability to swallow solid food! I found Ensure Vanilla Vegan PBV Protein online and ordered it. It literally saved her from starvation as a supplement to a baby food diet. It took 8 months for the Cortesone to metabolize and return her ability to swallow solid food. Wish Abbot would ramp up supply! She has a chocolate intolerance so Vanilla is crucial! Come on Abbott, make this a regular production product!

I use the product regularly when I am in a situation where I need a quick protein meal, but I can't deal with a reaction to dairy that is found in all other protein drinks, and most food that I can be rapidly consumed.

I bought this product for my elderly mother who is lactose intolerant. She said it was awful tasting & too sweet. I tried it - it has a really foul taste. She wasn't wrong. I was hoping for a different outcome since she only weighs 92 pounds and needs to increase weight.

I used to drink Ensure as a teen, because my vegetarian diet was very limited in protein. 30 years later, it still is.. but I no longer consume dairy products, so protein shakes are not usually an option. Until this plant-based came out. The chocolate is SOO GOOD! And I feel so healthy drinking one a day. I really hope they keep making it, because its helping my diet and overall health so much. :)

I bought some plant-based Ensure, as I have a dairy allergy, and I was excited to try it. The texture was fine, but I couldn't get passed the taste. It has a hint of maple flavor and smell and I hate maple. That's not the company's fault! However, what I found most unpleasant was the aftertaste - a sugar substitute chemical-like taste. I took few sips and had to throw it away as it was making me nauseated. Sorry! I really wanted to like it.

This has been the best Vegan Protein Shake I have had. It's better served cold. It is great for on the go breakfast and snacks. Chocolate has is the better tasting flavor. I will say that this is hard to find in stores. I wish it was carried more places. And, most places run out once I buy what they have.

In 2020 I started getting serious about Plant-based lifestyle; I used this product pre-Bariatric surgery and still use this product post-Bariatric surgery. Overall the taste is good; the only con would be please remove the Stevia. for this reason, no 5 stars

I found Ensure Plant based supplement about a year ago at a retail store and was quite surprised. I am unable to shop myself and depend on delivery for nearly everything. I had been using Ensure Clear but wasn’t thrilled with the high sugar content. I have trouble eating enough to sustain good nutrition and the addition of Ensure Plant Based Supplement helps me feel better about getting the nutrients Ineed.

I have a ton of allergies, so I'm so happy that you have a plant-based milk now that doesn't contain nuts. I typically drink pea protein milk, but I find that I have to drink more of it to feel full. With this Ensure though, I found it very filling and the taste is really good. I shared it with my mom who also really loved the taste and was happy that it's not high in sugar. It's officially one of my favorite meal replacement options. I do wish the price was a little lower though because I would like to replace all of my pea protein milk with this, but looks like it will be too expensive to do that. I'm hoping to find somewhere that sells it in bulk for a lower price. Overall very happy and definitely recommend this.

I waited a long time for this product, and it has that putrid, fake-sweetness taste that is Stevia’s signature. It would be great without it. We need to stop assuming everything has to be so sweet to sell. It is no longer necessary as it used to be. PLEASE test the product without it. Begging - this product is needed but intolerable with Stevia

Recently tried these due to a chronic illness and needing to get in some protein. I wish there were at least 6 pack for the cost. I would love to see a strawberry flavor added. As a vegan, this is a great option for a protein source.
