After cleaning, rinse the area thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any soap residue, and then dry completely with a dry cloth to prevent water spots or marks. Q: Can you safely place this item on a wooden deck? (Does it get hot at the bottom?)

No, unfortunately we do not recommend using this or any of our fire pits/tables on wooden decks the heat, flying sparks, and ash can seriously damage the wood deck and can also lead to a dangerous fire.
