Q: Why are the pictures not matching up with the essie nail colors? For example, "Clothing Optional" is supposed to be a rosey color but it shows up as gray. Want to make sure I'm ordering what I need.

Bought online didnt see in person. Definitely more of a pastel purple. Not super light pastel but definitely a lighter purple. Thought it would have slightly more depth. Still lighter than my uploaded photo. Love the polish in general just didn’t like the color I thought it was going to be.

While the color is nice the quick to chip is not. Kind of a bummer in this economy to spend your money on a product and chips after 12 hours. Wasn't a one off either, both times I've used it so far, chipped within hours.

This polish is a nice, subtle, yet flattering shade of pink, but it becomes darker as time goes on. I thought it was just the dry-down color, but no? It just kept getting darker and eventually I just took it off. I wear gloves when I wash dishes, so it’s gotta just be a weird formula thing reacting to me washing my hands. I will keep the shade but I had higher expectations bc I’ve never had an Essie polish do me dirty like this 😭

To help your manicure last longer, we recommend the following: Wipe nails clean with remover before painting a base coat and then thin coats of polish. Wait 1-2 minutes between coats for it to dry. Finish with a topcoat and make sure to cap the edges on every coat! for any issues. We hope this helps!

This is a beautiful color it deserves a five star for that but it is very thin. If you are looking for a sheer look you will like this color. You will need three coats of this polish to not have full coverage. That also increases drying times and more likely smudges.

this shade is beautiful. a little too much pink for me...i used to own a salon and loved ESSIE products. There was a shade called SUNSET I think. absolutely gorgeous! I could hardly keep it in stock. one the client wore it she wanted to buy it~~ it was kind of the shade of a ripe tomato but not a RED. Do you have this ??? this was in the 80's-90's.

I am a long-time user of Essie products and was very excited to use this blue Butler Please. I had seen other reviews on-line about how other users had problems with it chipping right away, but had no concerns. Until I used it. I applied it and even used a Top Coat. However within just a couple hours of normal activity, it was already chipping off. Super bummed out because I love the color but can't trust that it will stay on for any length of time. (Even with a Top Coat.)
