Developed with Pediatric Feeding Specialists, the Evenflo Feeding Balance + Wide Bottle is designed to support healthy bottle feeding without interfering with your breastfeeding journey. The unique, naturally-sloped nipple promotes a healthy wide latch for your baby by providing a proper resting place for their lips, helping to decrease mouth fatigue. The effective 1-piece integrated vent helps prevent colic, gas, and fussiness with no extra parts to clean or lose. The included Slow Flow Nipple has an intentional, slower flow rate and helps prevent chugging, allowing for a calm, gulp-free feeding at baby's pace. The Balance + Wide Bottle has molded measurement markers in both ounces and milliliters to provide an easy and accurate way to measure the volume of liquid. A: Hi M, yes, the bottles are dishwasher safe (top rack only). For ease of cleaning, rinse disassembled bottle parts immediately after use with cool water to remove milk residue before loading them into the top rack of the dishwasher or hand washing. Thanks!

A: Slow flow nipples will be a good flow rate for many 3 month old babies. But every baby is different. We know that some 3 month old babies do better on the medium flow. You may just have to try it and see. A: Hi Bt, the Balance + wide neck bottles do not have a sealing disc. However, so long as the hood is attached and the bottle is upright, you should have no problems with leaking. Thanks!

Q: Can you put these bottles in a Baby Breeza or Dr. Brown’s sterilizer and dryer unit?

A: Hi Sylv, we do not recommend using the Baby Brezza or Dr. Brown's sterilizer and dryer unit. These machines hold at too high of a temperature for too long, which can cause parts to warp. We recommend sterilizing in a pan on the stove, or following the instructions for the Evenflo Silicone Steam Sanitizing Bag. Thanks!

A: Hi Erin, Balance + nipples are not tested with other brands. Through your own exploring, even if you find a brand they work with, keep in mind that the venting system is designed to work with the specific cap ring the nipple was designed for. In fact, most brands are engineered and tested only with their own brand. Using off-brand pieces may cause the nipple to not flow properly. Hope this helps!

A: Hi SS, the 5 oz bottles are plastic, as are the 9 oz bottles. Our glass bottles only come in 6oz, and the description will always include the word "glass." Hope this helps!

They leak almost every time my baby is eating, I’ve tried all the trouble shooting things on evenflo’s website and we still have issues. It’s especially annoying when they waste hard worked for breastmilk.

The nipple shape of the bottle hasn’t caused any problems with latching when I breastfeed. My newborn doesn’t seem colicky. Good bottle.

New Design but still shows original photos

I ordered more of these bottles since we have been using them for all of our kids since we had our oldest almost 5 years ago. These bottles have been redesigned and while the nipple is the same, everything else is different and does not make the pieces interchangeable with the the old design. We LOVED the old design and recommended them to everyone. The new design also starts marking at 2oz instead of 1oz which sucks because my baby is drinking between 1 and 1.5 ounces at a time. I have to return these because I don’t want to risk accidentally mixing pieces and having bottles leak milk everywhere.

I was so happy to have found these. It has been difficult finding Evenflo bottles so I’m glad target carried them. I like the nipple shape as it allows the transition from breast feeding to bottle feeding and vice versa easy.

We love our standard neck balance bottles. I purchased the wide neck so I could pump directly into the bottle. However, the threading on the bottle is not domparywirh my Spectra or Maymom flanges. I will be returning these. I guess I continue using my Spectra adapter to pump into the standard neck bottles.

Only bottle she would take! Thank you Evenflo for the wide neck nipple. She’s mainly breastfed but trying to get her to take a bottle so I can get a break and leave her with dad for a couple hours.

These bottles are great to promote a good latch, especially if switching between bottle & breast. However, that’s the only good thing about them.. if the lid is screwed on too tight, the milk will pour out the groove in the white rim. Also, they create a ton of bubbles inside the bottle which causes my baby to swallow air — I would have to unscrew & rescrew the lid on, and press the nipple in so it made a pop noise to release the pressure build up. I really wanted to love these as I’ve heard great things about them but they just didn’t work for us.

These are not the same as the ones pictured. These are a newer version. I originally bought these for my 1st child 2 years ago and I swore by them. These are the new version which I’m not in love with. They feel so much cheaper and not as sturdy. I’ll be keeping them because it’s the only bottle my 2nd baby will take. I’m not sure why it’s not advertised that they’re not the same as before. The caps are not interchangeable with the old version. Old version is on the left new is on the right

I did A LOT of research before my baby was born knowing I was going to nurse and bottle feed. I wanted the best most comfortable option for us both. The newborn nipple slow flow was great! We had no problems and she was enjoying her bottle. Once she hit 3 months out LC said we should increase the flow on her nipples. We ordered the next size up for the medium flow and the entire shape of the nipple is different. I noticed, but prayed she didn’t. She did. It was a nightmare and now she was refusing the bottle. Why on earth would you change the shape?! Know babies and babies and so finicky!? I truly don’t understand. We needed up going with Lansinoh. So not recommended evenflo for this reason. Who knows you may be able to be persistent, but the shape may also be different on the high flow!

The Evenflo Balance + nipple shapes are identical for each flow rate. The same mold is used to manufacture every nipple. A different process is used to change flow rate. Sadly Evenflo has changed their nipples greatly over the last 3 years and the flow “type” is not clear nor consistent. It took us months to find replacement nipples as we had to guess what number/symbol meant what compared to ones we have for our first baby. Great bottle & nipple shape but a pain to find. Also some nipple openings began cracking making them flow too quickly.

The nipple is the closest to a human nipple! We tried EVERYTHING, but my gut told me this would work simply based on the looks of the nipple! My LO took 4oz on the first attempt!

I bought these to upgrade from my daughters slow flow nipples and had to order 5 packs and one of the nipples didn’t have holes in it. Other than that they have been great. My daughter isn’t having nearly as many gas pains since we’ve switched to these bottles.
