Description
Developed with Pediatric Feeding Specialists, the Evenflo Feeding Balance + Wide Bottle is designed to support healthy bottle feeding without interfering with your breastfeeding journey. The unique, naturally-sloped nipple promotes a healthy wide latch for your baby by providing a proper resting place for their lips, helping to decrease mouth fatigue. The effective 1-piece integrated vent helps prevent colic, gas, and fussiness with no extra parts to clean or lose. The included Slow Flow Nipple has an intentional, slower flow rate and helps prevent chugging, allowing for a calm, gulp-free feeding at baby's pace. The Balance + Wide Bottle has molded measurement markers in both ounces and milliliters to provide an easy and accurate way to measure the volume of liquid. All Evenflo bottles and nipples are 100% free of BPA, polycarbonates, PVC and phthalates, and are also made of FDA-approved food grade material.

Q: Is this good for newborns?
submitted by Mauikai - 4 months ago
A: Hi Mauikai, Yes! These bottles were designed with a very slow flow, and the nipple shape promotes a similar latch between breast and bottle for babies who switch back and forth. Welcome to the Evenflo Family!

Q: Do these bottles attach to the evenflo single electric breast pump?
submitted by stourigz - 6 years ago
A: No, the opening is too wide.

These bottles were recommended to me by my lactation consultant for being less likely to cause nipple confusion for my baby. They are slow flow and my baby took to them right away. Great size too!

Love these! My breastfed has no problem going between these and the breast! We bought this set for the bottles, but it came with a pacifier and to my surprise we finally found a pacifier my baby will take!! So a win, win! Definitely ordering more.
YOUR ORAL TIED BABY WILL THANK YOU!! but bottles arrived used.

I love these bottles and they were the only ones my twin who had oral tension and undiagnosed ties would use. We couldn’t use them long because he needed a higher flow nipple and they were out of stock for awhile (for good reason, they rock!) Our third is about to be here and we ordered a new pack of the bottles because we’ve had the entire pregnancy to watch for the nipples in each of the flows. We now have 6 bottles and slow, med, and fast flow nipples for each one and feel more confident about feeding this baby. Only downfall is because of the constantly low or lack of stock and these now being out of stock everywhere, our bottles arrived used and we will have to keep them incase they don’t come back in stock before baby arrives. Sterilizing is fine with us and we are going to use them anyway, but would have been nice to actually receive new bottles and not used bottles. SUMMED UP: buy these for oral tie babies or breastfed babies who refuse bottles. Babies with shallow latch can deepen latch using these bottles! They rock. Just buy the next flow nipple before you actually need it to keep it on hand. They are hard to come by!

I’ve seen this bottle promoted by many lactation consultants and decided to give it a try. I’m a first time mom with a 2 month old and we are exclusively breast feeding. The nipple on this bottle is soft and shaped closely to a real nipple. My baby loves it, never struggles and never gets any unwanted while sucking. It is slow flow. The nipple comes off easily to clean and it is simply 4 parts to wash including the lid.

My baby loves these nipples and they are for the most part great. But there are random packs of bad ones that crack and split terribly.

Yes my nursing baby will only drink from these. If you have a fast flow or somewhat elastic nipple give these a try for your baby.

I bought a 2-pack of the medium flow wide-neck balance+ nipples and one of them didn’t even have a single hole in it. The milk wouldn’t even come out at all, completely sealed up. This was quite disappointing considering I bought these specifically so my baby could get better flow and drink more milk in one sitting, and makes me think there’s not even a process to regulate the manufacturing and flow rate of these bottles.

I have been using these bottles to bottle feed my breastfeeding baby and he latched on so perfectly. The only thing I wish is that they sold these bottles in store.

I bought the evenflo balance plus wide neck bottles for my daughter who has struggled with her latch ever since before her oral ties were corrected. This bottle has helped my daughter’s latch improve significantly by promoting a wider, deeper latch. We tried many bottles, and most of them made her latch worse, not better. Her latch is almost perfect now, due, in part, to this amazing bottle!

The nipples will collapse after only a few sucks by my 15 month old. I ordered the faster flow and they will still collapse.

How frustrating for you and your baby. These nipples come in 3 sizes--are you using the fast flow? Also, it is important to squeeze the vent immediately before each feeding as the silicone vent can self-seal. Please see this link for more details: https://www.evenflofeeding.com/blogs/bottles/how-to-squeeze-the-nipple-vent. If we can be of further assistance, please email https://www.evenflofeeding.com/pages/support and reference CS-1125. Thanks!

These bottles were a life saver after trying comotomo, dr browns, and lancinoh. I just wish there was a size smaller like 5 oz and that the plastic bottles were more weighted.

I am working hard to breastfeed my newborn (5 weeks now), but he is underweight and falling asleep before getting full feeds in. The pediatrician recommended to supplement each feed with a bottle (expressed milk) to get his calories in. This specific bottle with slow flow nipple was recommended to me by a lactation consultant. The nipple shape is more similar to a breast than other bottles, and hopefully will encourage him to continue breastfeeding. The slow flow nipple is much slower than my previous Philips Avent bottles (- not recommended for nipple shape either if also breastfeeding). Would highly recommend the Balance Plus bottles with slow flow nipple.

My mostly breastfed baby started rejecting the occasional bottle that we would give. I went through 8 different bottles to find one she would like. A friend had the same thing happen with her baby and recommended this bottle. This is the only bottle her baby would take and it worked for mine. I had another baby and the same thing happened. My baby rejected all bottles except for this one. The nipple shape is more natural.

We tried over 4 different brands before trying evenflo. This is the only bottle baby boy takes. The nipple is the perfect size for a small mouth (not to narrow where he feels he is chocking and not to wide). He transitions smoothly from bottle to breast as he is still breastfeeding.

I was using the slow flow first and needed stage 2. These nipples are collapsing when my baby drinks. I have to pull the bottle fully out of her mouth to refill with air. It’s attached correctly. It wasn’t happening with 1. She doesn’t need the next size flow either. Maybe defective? Disappointed Using a different brand bottle for now bc she can’t drink from those flow 2 nipples. Upsetting bc I finally found flow 2 but paid $$ for something baby can’t use now :-(
