[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start off by saying that this base is absolutely EVERYTHING we as parents need and want in a base for our babies car seats! I’ve been thinking of something I’d like to see improved or changed about it and haven’t been able to come up with one thing! It’s very high quality crafted. It’s durable but lightweight, it isn’t too bulky & it does its job so easily. For example, when you push the button to rotate the base, it quickly unlocks and turns for you without you ending up having to use force to get it to rotate or unlock. It has added clips to run the safety belt through along with the belt route to ensure the safety belt stays in place. On the front of the base there’s a clip like lever you pull out and the base will open up which is where you will find the safety belt route and clips you run it through. To me, that is like an extra layer of security knowing that the safety belt is underneath the top part of the base which can only be unlocked to open if you pull the lever. The base rotates in either direction also, which is awesome for me because I had to install it in the middle of my backseat due to having 2 other children’s car seats installed on the 2 outer seats of my backseat so I get the baby out and put her in on different sides of my vehicle each time. I feel I should mention that even being in the middle of the 2 other carseats in my backseat, this base still has plenty room to rotate either direction without any issue. Because of the LockStrong TM belt tensioning feature Evenflo added to this base, I feel peace of mind knowing my baby’s base is secured even with another base & a toddler car seat on either side of this base, the safety belt still properly fits and the anchors are still anchored in along with the other car seat and the other base anchored in my backseat too. Being so lightweight and not bulky, this base fits perfectly in the middle seat between another base on one side of it and a toddler car seat on the other side. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit the new baby’s car seat base in my backseat with my 2 others kids’ seat and base so I was super happy this one fit with absolutely no problem! Overall I’m HIGHLY satisfied with this base, especially paired with the Revolve180 LiteMax NXT rotational infant car seat which makes the hands down best combo I could want for my baby and to ensure that my baby is safe while traveling. I 10 out of 10 recommend you try this base and the car seat that it pairs with! I avoided my husband's car because I was missing the turn feature and it just took extra effort without the base. The ease of not switching the base between our two vehicles saved time and my sanity. I’m usually running late with a bunch of little kids so this was a huge time saver! The only disadvantage came with installation of the base. It is inconvenient to have to lift the lid of the base to tighten. This means you cannot tighten the straps with the car seat in place. With all excellent features I felt this coupe have been designed better. Other features I did love were the rotation base which made getting the care seat in quick and the easy click in latches/anchors which were easy and painless. Using the Revolve180 LiteMax NXT Base has made car seat and baby life easier and I would recommend it!

The only complaint I have ever had with the Evenflo Revolve system was that I wish they had extra bases available like some other brands, so this was exactly what we needed! It is very nice to be able to have bases in both mine and my husband's cars so that no matter what car is available, we can bring our son where we need to go without having to install and uninstall or use the seat belt restraint. The base itself is lightweight and very easy to install. You can install it using the seat belt or using the latch system like we did. There is a very easy to see and read indicator on the base to make sure it is level and installed properly. The best part of the Revolve base is that the button is very easy to access and press to be able to turn the base 180 to face the car door. Now that our son is not a newborn, there are often times when we take him out of the infant seat instead of bringing it with us out of the car, so turning the seat to face us just makes getting him out and then back in and buckled so much easier. It is so nice to not have to reach around sideways when buckling him back in and also reassuring to know the belt is secure enough because the angle is not awkward. Definitely a time saver on busy days of running errands and going to different classes with two kids getting in and out of the car.

With the sliding minivan doors, there is less clearance to access a baby who is sitting in a rear facing carseat, compared to a car with a normal hinged door. This makes it especially difficult to help a baby into or out of the carseat. This Revolve180 carseat base solves that problem by allowing you to spin the carseat to face you. This is so helpful! We have two cars and have a base in each of our cars. We appreciate the ability to pop the carseat into each car when needed. When I received the product I was so impressed with how light and easy it was to remove from the box. We were so excited to receive a second base as both my husband and I transport our children to/from daycare in our cars. Having this extra base makes everything smoother because we now do not have to have two completely different car seats for our son. Being able to just transfer him in his car seat from one car to the other has been so amazing. It is so easy to install. It is light, simple to click in to our anchor latches, and the adjustable base makes it so nice to know that you have the correct fit to the car. The rotation is smooth and effortless. The one downside is that it does jiggle a little bit when I am driving around and the baby isn't in it. I did not want to mark off for how great it is though in case it was a my car problem. Overall, this product has added convenience, ease, and more importantly, safety to our everyday routines. I am so pleased with this product and have been telling everyone about it!

So when StellarPanel sent me this extra bar…you better believe I was super excited. My husband and I use ours car interchangeably and this made moving the car seat base between two cars is frustrating, time consuming & just annoying. Having this additional base was sooo convenient. The set up was super easy & I am a stickler for car seat safety. The instructions were clear and I was convinced I did something wrong. The base is super lightweight but I never felt I was sacrificing safety. Even when I switch into another car we don’t use often, set up was quick and it took no more than a couple of minutes. My favorite thing. The front leveler made it sooooo incredibly easy to tell if I was installing correctly. They knew what they were doing when they designed this base!

I previously had one of this base as part of the travel system, but having an extra base makes life noticeably easier! No more moving bases from my husband’s truck to my car depending on what we were driving or guessing who was going to be picking up the kids. Prior to using this base, I never thought I would spend extra money on a car seat base with the rotating feature. But after using it in my husband’s truck, it allows me to actually get our daughter in and out of the truck myself. On a long road trip, the rotating base allowed me to swivel my daughter so I could feed her at a rest stop without taking her out. This was easy to install to my car and I did it myself without any issues. The only thing I have noticed (and I’m not sure another base would be different) but in my explorer, when the base was positioned so the indicator was green (meaning it’s in the correct position) my daughters head fell forward quite often when she fell asleep, causing me to have to stop and adjust her. There was a foot at the bottom that helped mitigate this a little, but not completely. In my husband’s truck, it does not have this issue. Overall, this seems to be worth the investment.

It seems sturdy, and safe for our baby, which is my number one priority! My parents have a large suv with leather seats, and my sister has a small sedan with cloth seats. The setup is so well thought out and has a balancing feature to make sure it’s in the green and safe for your little one. My favorite part is the rotating feature, I love being able to turn my daughter to make it easier for my bigger kids to get in and out and then turn her back and lock it in place.
