All of our Infant Car Seats come with their own Infant Car Seat Base, and all of our Bases that you can purchase separately are able to be used with any of our Graco Infant Car Seats. If you don't want to use a Base, you can also install your Infant Car Seat with the vehicle's seat belt which you can find instructions in the user's manual for proper installation. Our daughter and son-in law came to visit for Thanksgiving with their 5 month old daughter. Bought this base to use with our vehicle for their stay with us. Base worked fine until it came time to release it so they could take it back home with them. As much as we tried we could not release the strap. Someone else reported the same issue in the Comments. I guess we had the base installed too tight. In the end we had to cut the strap to release the base. This product is ok if the base stays in your vehicle but too difficult to use if you plan on regularly switching it between vehicles.

We purchased the Graco® Outpace™ LX All-Terrain Travel System & needed a secondary base since we have two vehicles. The Graco SnugRide Lite Infant Car Seat Base was a perfect match for the carrier - this product was ordered online separately. We tried it w/ the carrier & it clicked in perfectly w/ the SnugRide® 30 Lite Infant Car Seat.

This is a great car seat base. I use it everyday when I take my baby to and from daycare. It does shift slightly however it is secured by fasteners and I also use the seatbelt to fasten it as well. Overall 5 star product and will be passing it on to my expecting sister-in-law!

I bought this for my daughter, we needed an extra base for my vehicle and had the Graco SnugRide SnugLock in our other car. For what it's worth, it does work as intended. When installed properly, it is very tight and moves minimally. It provides a very secure attachment for the infant carseat. The issue that arose for me is that when installed with the provided latches to latch points, it is nearly impossible to remove the base from the vehicle. The provided lacth release buitton does not work as intended, and it is not user error, I have read other reviews stating people had to cut the latch belts in order to remove it. I bought this because I had the Graco SnugRide SnugLock full version, but wanted to spend a little less on a second base. If I had known how difficult it would be to uninstall or move it I would have spent the extra $25 for the full version - which includes a Clip mechanism, making it MUCH easier to remove.

The gray match Button to release is very difficult. It has no push to it. Very hard to remove so had to get other bases for other vehicles since I refuse to remove this one. Otherwise it stays in it's space very nicely.
