I have 3 other bags but I use this 90% of the time because the rhythm is awesome. All the bad reviews are from people who want it to be a heavy bag. Come on yall, look at that base... this is not for power punching! It's for cardio and rhythm. Add a little duct tape above the coil so foam doesn't spill out, tie a couple dumbells onto the base and this thing will take a beating!! Had mine over 3 months now. Ignore the bad reviews.

It's perfect for at home workout or gym. It's good if you need to hit something to release stress. It's study and sprung on it is very strong, So it will pop back at you quick. If your beginner or just trying start the new year off buy loosing weight this will help you to get started.

Not good product don’t recommend

I should’ve listened to the reviews. It lasted a few months of sporadic use but then the pole broke at the base like pictured in another review here. I think a kid/young teenager could make decent use of it but skip it if you’re trying to unleash even the slightest of demons onto this thing.

This is cloth not like the leather shown in the deceptive photo. You will not get any type of adult workout with this, too light. Now to un put it together and return with the rest of the crap from Target.

The padding started coming out of the bottom after one day of having it.

Totally not worth the money My son is 11 and I thought with a name like Everlast this would be ideal. We filled the base as recommended and my son enjoyed it Christmas morning through the next 48hrs, then it was bent and leaning… back to Target it went

Cheap and flimsy. Falls over easily. Also, impossible to take apart.

Definitely for younger children. My toddlers and younger elementary ages can use and abuse it but it bent under the force of my older elementary boys' third real use. It's definitely not sturdy enough to withstand anything more than light cardio from my teens so any adult would be seriously disappointed especially if they're looking for a real workout. My ten year old hasn't given up on it despite the bent pole and constantly having to pull it back down plus when he finishes his workout there's foam bits and chunks everywhere. He's finally learned how to work with the rhythm after hitting it because it takes a long time to bounce back especially since the pole is now bent. Water in the base was essential to provide any form of resistance and it's virtually spill proof because he picks it up and slams it regularly with no sign of spilling. I gave it three stars as opposed to two because the spill proof base was that important to me but as far as quality the product only earns two stars in my book. In my opinion, if you're buying it for anyone over the age of ten, keep looking and be willing to spend a little more.

13 year old daughter used it for one day and it is now bent sideways. going to return it not worth the money. Get a real punching bag instead.

I was sold on the quick rebound is claims. It’s not quick at all. You need someone to hold it or you’re doing 1 hit every 5 seconds. 0 combos. It’s very soft and better for kids to be honest. I barely hit it and you can see how much it bends

This is a great punching bag. You do have to fill the base for it not to fall over. Wish it was adjustable height.

My son loves it and a good work out. My youngest who is 8 loves it as well as my husband

Sucks moves way to much not sturdy at all and I added water to base to the top but didn’t help still not worth it

I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but I quickly found what probably was many peoples problem: the base. You can add sand or water into the holes of the base (as it is designed for) to add weight. As soon as I filled the base COMPLETELY with water (not half, not 3/4; fully) it stopped moving as much. The bag itself and the spring still have some movement, but personally I like having the little bit of bounce as it adds to the rhythm. Definitely a nice bag for the budget, would recommend.
