Book Synopsis
This meticulously crafted coffee table book offers readers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Apple Original Films' "F1 The Movie," the most authentic racing film ever. Readers will gain insights into the film's production process via interviews with director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer ("Top Gun: Maverick"); star and producer Brad Pitt, along with stars Damson Idris and Javier Bardem; as well as other key members of the creative team both in front of and behind the camera. They'll enjoy stories and in-depth conversations about the casting, the preparation and training required to accurately portray a FORMULA 1 driver, the filming techniques used to capture these high-speed cars and the unprecedented access to live races, alongside the unusual challenges and thrills encountered while merging the artistry of filmmaking with the thrill of high-speed racing, and inviting fans to explore the passion, precision, and innovation that drive both. The book will also include special "under the hood" access that will appeal to FORMULA 1 fans, delving into the cutting-edge engineering and innovation that define the sport of racing. Gearheads and racing enthusiasts will revel in explorations of the cars' design and capabilities, from detailed sketches, to interviews with the design team, to exclusive documentation of the film's scenes at Grand Prix weekends, and beyond. In addition, the book will be packed with stunning and exclusive photos of the film and its production, along with storyboards, concept drawings, and behind-the-scenes imagery of the cars and the featured racing tracks, props, costumes, set designs and much more.
