Tania Israel is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and the award-winning author of Beyond Your Bubble: How to Connect Across the Political Divide, Skills and Strategies for Conversations That Work (APA, 2020). She has shared her work on navigating political polarization with campuses, conferences, corporations, elected officials, and faith communities. Tania has received honors from Congress, the California State Legislature, and the American Psychological Association. Her TEDx talks, podcasts, and The Flowchart That Will Resolve All Political Conflict in Our Country can be found on her website, taniaisrael.com. She grew up in Charlottesville, VA and lives in Santa Barbara, CA.
