Faux Leather Desk Mat Brown - Threshold™: Desk Pad Protector, Polyurethane, 18"x26"

I ordered this desk mat after seeing it on my coworkers desk and complimenting her on it several times. It looks high end and is nice to give a smooth surface on top of desk. I feel like it is a bit pricey for what it is but am glad to have bought it.

Comes in a large box with packing paper, flat and not folded up, which was great! Arrived in good condition. I needed a 18x26 inch desk mat/pad to cover my pull out keyboard tray on my desk. You can use a mouse on this mat, but the faux leather creates a lot of resistance depending on your type of mouse. I suspected this when I bought it, but it was the only mat I could find that was affordable and fit the dimensions I needed. Luckily, I have a Lenovo Yoga Pro bluetooth mouse that glides on most surfaces. The "chipboard" bottom is more of a textured covering over plastic than a solid piece of compressed wood. Overall, it's good for the price, but I would not recommend using a mouse on it unless you have one that glides like the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse.

Then saw it in the store and it literally looks like cheap fake leather plastic covering some cardboard. For 20 bucks. Crazy. Not worth more than 5.

This compliments my desk nicely. It is easy to write on. I love the brown faux leather. I’m not sure at this point how durable it is, I have not had it for long. Seems quality for the price point.
