Q: Do the vent clips have a certain heat resistance? Is it safe to use with the heat on 80 degrees or higher for the winter?

submitted by TargetShopper3 - 4 years ago

  • A: Thanks for your great question, when used as directed, you can be confident your Febreze CAR Vent Clip will work effectively at typical temperatures. Extreme heat, or cold, may shorten the scent's lifespan, but the integrity of the clip should be fine under typical temperatures. Great smelling product

This product is excellent. The air conditioner is required almost all of the time in Florida, so this is a perfect way to have a sweet scent touch your nose when you are driving in the car.

Wonderful smell; wish it lasted longer

Love these little guys! They pack a powerful punch in terms of smell however, I do wish it lasted longer. They are easy to use and I had no issues with leaking or the clips breaking. If the sent lasted longer, I’d definitely buy over and over again.

    Keeps the car smelling fresh

Here’s a one-paragraph personal review for Febreze Car Vent Clip with Gain Scent — the car vent-clip air freshener — capturing how much you love it: I absolutely love the Gain vent-clip air freshener for my car because it instantly transforms even the most tired, stale interior into a space that smells clean, fresh, and inviting — like freshly washed clothes on a sunny day. It’s super easy to install: just clip it onto a vent, adjust the scent intensity, and you’re good to go — no sprays, no mess, no fuss. The scent carries throughout the whole cabin as you drive, and I especially appreciate how it neutralizes stubborn odors from food, gym bags, or daily use so the car always feels welcoming. It’s become one of those “set it and forget it” must-haves — every time I get in, I’m greeted by that familiar, refreshing Gain aroma.

    Will continue to purchase!

The Gain fresh clips does not easily evaporate, for the ventilation and installation is quick and easy. The clip is small and gives discretion. The strength of the smell last all day.

    The scent fades quickly

I've yet to find a long-lasting car Clips that has lasted as long as it's claim and that is worth the value for the money. The scent starts out nice and obvious, and in less than a week, it is non-existent. Gain Island Fresh is an acquired scent. I find it too artificial and not pleasing. I don't recommend. I think you'll be disappointed unfortunately.
