The Fellowes Powershred 225i Strip-Cut Shredder shreds up to 22 sheets of paper per pass into 37 (7/32" Security Level P-2) Strip-Cut pieces. This machine also safely shreds CDs/DVDs, credit cards, staples, paper clips and junk mail. Achieve hassle-free shredding with all of the features the 225i has to offer. Get three levels of advanced jam prevention with Fellowes 100% Jam Proof System which eliminates paper jams, powers through tough jobs and maximizes productivity. To protect more than your identity, the patented SafeSense® Technology is designed with an electronic safety sensor that surrounds the paper entry and automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening. Also, the 225i’s SilentShred™ Technology and Energy Savings System allow this machine to integrate easily to any environment. With the ability to shred continuously without stopping, the 225i is ideal for shared use and includes a high volume 16-gallon removable basket.

Powershred 225i
In researching the various shredders available under the same line, we found the Powershred 225i. This shredder fits well in our office space, and has a nice professional look. It is so quiet when it is in use, not like other brands. We formerly had another shredder from Fellowes that lasted 10 years. We are very happy with this product.

Great machine

Great Value & Performance
Purchased for University faculty & staff in office with various users day & night. Posted instructions above shredder including oiling cutters. LIST OF ITEMS NOT TO SHRED taped on shredder at feeding area on top...such as.. NO adhesive labels, transparencies, newspaper, file folders. Even highly educated users now have no jams or excuses! Wish new shredder came with at least a small bottle of oil!

Best Purchase Ever
Because we do a lot of shredding daily, this machine really makes a difference in our daily productivity. I really appreciate the silence that it provides while in operation. Best purchase we have made in our department.
