I suppose this mat would work if you had a hard surface but it does NOT work on carpet. The mat is thin and flimsy - think file folder thin.

Do not spoil your carpet!!!
Get this to maintain your carpetings. It penetrates the carpeting yet does not rip it apart. Not the most effective looking but it does its work really welljob.
