[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1 year old nephew plays with the dump truck sporadically. He was entertained at first with the eyes on the front and the fact it has wheels. He attempts to push it around but it’s too small. That’s the main downside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this toy is nice to look at but it took us a little to figure out how to actually make it go “poppity pop.” we tried on both tile and carpet. once we figured it out, my son loves to hear it make the popping noise and see the little balls fly up. The face on the truck makes him laugh all the time and he loves to make this go back and forth to watch the balls pop in the air.

It is a simple toy; he pushes it and the wheels spin a gear that 'pops' the little balls inside. It is durable, which is good because he likes to throw it. The only con is that it is a little loud, so if he pushes it while we are trying to sleep, it can become a little tiresome.

We thought it would be like the big popper, which my grandson loves, but not really. It was hard to make roll and he lost interest quickly. Great size, but lacks the fun and durability.

The popping keeps him engaged and the size is great to throw in the diaper bag and go, but dont expect to take this toy to church or anywhere you need to be quiet, it is quite loud.

It rolls around easily on all types of surfaces, minus a long shag rug - it took more effort than my 6 mo old could manage, but she still enjoyed hitting and grabbing at it. The bright colors and noise are really appealing to her even though she can't roll it far enough to make it pop several times in a row yet. The popping sound isn't overly loud or stimulating, which I appreciate. The popping only occurs when the back wheels spin, but that wasn't hard to manage since the most comfortable place for little hands is right above the back wheels and the car rolls smoothly. Overall, my 6 month old isn't crawling with it yet, but she loves the colors and the popping sounds it makes with little effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In theory this toy would be perfect, but it has a hang up. We also have the “roller tractor” version of this series, and love it. This dump truck, however, is fussy. When you roll it on the floor, it is supposed to pop the balls up like those old school floor toys (the one with a handle and balls that sounded like popcorn popping as you pushed it around). The wheels get stuck constantly and freeze up / skid along the floor. Therefore because the wheels aren’t rolling, the balls don’t pop like they are supposed to. It works here and there, but not consistently at all. Because of this, my son was unamused way quicker with this than the other. Super cute toy for little littles! I love that it keeps interest with sounds without battery sounds and annoying tunes. The child has to interact with the toy to Hear the sounds which I love. I dislike toys that make ruckus constantly while just sitting around. This one doesn’t. I wish it worked. They need to work on the wheels and making them smoother. I have a video but it will not allow me to attach. Could be a perfect toy but this leaves a lot left to be desired.

The truck is visually appealing and grabs your attention. It has various colors and happy face on the front of the vehicle. When you push or pull the truck, the colorful balls pop up and down and make noise, which grabs the baby's attention; more so, this displays cause and effect. The tuck is a good size for baby hands. My baby loves to play with this. Additionally, this toy can help with her fine and gross motor skills; she loves to hold it and crawl to the truck.

She was very excited to see it when we first showed it to her, the bright colors caught her attention. While she has not figured out how to push it herself, she likes to hold it and play with the wheels. She tends to try and put everything in her mouth, so the fact that there are no sharp edges is perfect. I think this toy will become more interesting to her as she grows and continues to learn that she can do more than just grab and hold.
