Guests are saying
The Fisher Price sensory bright squeeze n sniff toys, featuring a butterfly and frog, are designed to engage children with their cute shapes and textures. While many guests appreciate the fun of squeezing and the educational aspect of seeing the internal organs, some feel the scents are weak and the toys lack long-term engagement. They are suitable for sensory play, especially for younger children, but may not hold the interest of older kids for long.

Butterfly and Frog

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

I do not feel like this toy is good as a stand alone toy. It works best with the sensory light bright station because at least with the station you are able to see the different color lights shine through the toys. In the package I received the frog did not have a smell but the butterfly did. The butterflies wings are fun to squish but overall this toy is nothing special.

Do not buy this boring toy. It’s barely squishy, it’s not scented and the packaging is impossible to open. There’s nothing to do with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very study and well put together toys. Good movement of glitter and fluid through out toy. Did not smell as much of blueberries or lemon as stated but did smell delightful, like new bubbles. Great figet toy for school as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like the product at all. It was not entertaining or eye catching. I couldn’t smells the scents. I would not buy this from the store. My son was not into play with the sensory toys. He was expecting them to make noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The frog and butterfly are so cute! Definitely fun to play with. You can hold onto the butterfly and its wings will flap and she/he can pretend it's flying in the air. The butterfly smells exactly like it's scent, but the frog that I received did not have a scent to it, it smelled like plastic. I don't know if they forgot to put scent on this one, but just thought I would tell everyone about my experience. They are both very soft, pliable, and squishy. I think it's really cool that you can see inside them. The frog one looks like intestines, which is kind of educational. I received a free Fisher-Price sensory butterfly and frog set in exchange for my honest review from play rate review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These two sensory toys are very fun. My one and four year old enjoyed playing with them and I also used them for some education lessons we had done. I don’t think they smell like anything thought but other than that there fun
A fun, engaging toy to keep attention on the go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun sensory toy for my almost two year old. These really keep her occupied at her older siblings' sporting events! The texture is enjoyable for her to squeeze and she has fun looking for the surprises inside. We don't have the sensory light station but these are fun on their own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher Price Sensory Bright Frog and Butterfly toys are cute and smell nice but leave you wanting for more. The lemon and blueberry scents weaken after just a few days out of the package. The colors on the toys themselves are not bright and eye catching but rather subtle and toned down. The gel inside the butterfly is shimmery and fun to squeeze but there's not much of it, as the wings are roughly only a few inches in length/width. The frog has even less gel and palpable squeeze area but includes body anatomy which is cool to look at. My 5 year old played with these and enjoyed smelling them and squeezing them but lost interest quickly. They feel sturdy and don't seem like they're going to pop if squeezed too hard but the thicker plastic just seems odd on a sensory toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute shapes, textures on the inside are neat although the frog inside are more realistic then i thought. The scent was barely noticeable and didn't last long. Otherwise good construction and didn't leak or come apart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very cute little sensory toys! They may remind you of either a teething toy (not for chewing) or a little kids' ice pack. They are fun to squish, squeeze, and smell! My daughter didn't want to put them down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher-Price Squeeze n’ Sniffs sensory toys are meant to be used on the Sensory Bright Light Station and add to the experience with playing with that specific activity table. That being said, your child can totally play with them as separate toys without the activity table. The title of the play set is pretty misleading, as it’s titled “Bright Light” and can easily give you the impression that they will light up on their own, you need the activity table for that. This play set comes with a scented and squishy butterfly (that smells like blueberries) and a frog (that smells like lemon). They are both pretty cute. A cool detail I noticed about the frog is that, since the bodies are transparent, you can see the organs! The age range suggested for this play set is 3+. My 3 year old was excited when he first saw the toys, but lost interest in them very quickly. My husband and I both thought that these should be aimed for younger kids on their own, since they basically look and feel like teether toys for teething babies! Maybe my son would’ve been more interested in them if he had the activity table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son liked the Sensory Bright Squeeze n Sniff. He loved that they actually smelled like fruit and a fruit he knew!! I let him play with them while on a long ride and he was focused on the sensory play so much that he didn’t repeatedly ask “are we there yet”. He usually loves playing with slime and kinetic sand so this was a great sensory toy for on the go without the worry of a mess.
Early intro to science toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for little hands and have a variety of different textures to feel. The frog has more details in the body as you squeeze you feel different pieces which are the body parts, heart, organs, etc. They both smell but are not over powering, my only thing is the colors could be a little brighter with the liquids insode the colors dulls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute sensory toy, it doesn't smell like the fruits it says it smells like which is a disappointment but overall my kids did like playing with it, they enjoyed squishing the butterflies liquid to one wing and to the other wing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for the Fisher Price Sensory Bright Squeeze n Sniff toys for my 4 year old autistic son. Unfortunately the fun faded fast and he quickly lost interest because they are a dense plastic which is not sensory friendly, even with the slime-like substance inside. The frog was supposed to smell like lemons and had zero smell whatsoever, the butterfly had a faint blueberry smell that completely faded within hours of opening the package and they haven’t been played with again since then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sensory Bright Butterfly and Frog are for 3+ ages. The butterfly smells like Blueberries and the Frog smells of lemon. They are squishy in the hands of small children and were great for sensory skills. They were "cool" to the touch in little hands and were used for color, smell and shape recognition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice sensory toys. Pretty iridescent colors. Nice feel and weight to them. The packaging says scented but I didn't really notice a scent on either toy. I can see these going over well with toddlers and babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Sensory Bright Squeeze 'n Sniffs animals are cute, colorful, and smell good. The recommended age is 3+, which makes sense - you wouldn't want a baby chewing on it. But I think a younger child might enjoy this toy for slightly longer. I have a 3-year old and a 6-year old. Both were initially excited about these animals and enjoyed squishing them, but that excitement didn't even last five minutes. There simply isn't enough to do with them. The set comes with a frog and a butterfly, each with different colors, textures and sensory elements - the butterfly has glitter slime on the inside, a textured body, and smells like blueberries, and the frog has textured feet, a weird "skeleton" on the inside that can be pushed around, and smells like lemons. The smell of both is nice initially, but faded super quickly, probably within a few hours. As mentioned before, my kids loved them for a few minutes, but since the initial excitement wore off, the animals have not been played with again. Overall, these unfortunately looked a lot more exciting than they ended up being.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3.5 year old loves these. Very cute! The butterfly is a bit more squishy than the frog which is disappointing, that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Very durable, and better than those dollar store squishies that pop quick. These will last!
