[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little set of pots and pan that provided a lot of play options. The wooden pieces are well made and lightweight, making it very easy for kids to play with. The lids on the pots fit very nicely, and is a great touch to make the interactivity level even more fun. I love the variety of food pieces, and the pictures on them are very cute! The soft colors are nice, images are simple yet easy for kids to identify the food item. The oven mitt is a great little addition to the set! That said, as they were playing, my kids pointed out that they wished there were two pieces of the fish, since every other food has two of each. They also wished the spoon was curved a bit so that they could stir and scoop the food pieces better.

She knows all the foods and vegetables and has started to “feed” them to her stuffed animals. I’ve noticed she enjoys playing with the pans and pretending to cook. This toy is great for engaging little ones with the idea of eating healthy meals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little set is very well crafted and feels nice to the hands. The kids were so excited to play with it as soon as it came and argued over the pot holder for at least a minute while I was still helping them set up play. The colors of the foods are rich and engaging for little eyes and they loved giving names to the foods they were cooking. This set also provided a nice contrast in both shapes and textures to the plastics and metals of their existing kitchen and food play sets. Based off how they have kept coming back around to playing with it, I would like to add more of this series to their play and phase out the old pieces they’ve lost interest in. I would also like to add that they have already dropped and dinged a few pieces on the tiles and hardwood and it seems to hold its integrity. I haven’t noticed any chips, or color missing. The quality is there and it shows in this product.

The set includes high quality, detail painted, smooth wooden pieces which make the perfect addition to any play kitchen. I have a similar competitors set as well, and these are far superior. The wood is seriously smooth - you can tell that there was a lot of attention paid to the tiniest of pieces. I appreciate that because tiny hands and splinters don't go well together! The added fabric oven mitt is a super sweet addition that really rounds out the set for the full kitchen experience. My almost 3-year-old daughter is fascinated with it and it kept her attention for the longest time. The only thing I would like to see changed would be having the food pieces be a smidge smaller (I am certain they are concerned it could be a choking hazard, so they are what they are). They are just a bit too oversized to fit comfortably in the pots and pans, but even still they work great! This would make a great gift. I highly recommend!

When i put things together she does too. She mimics most of my day now. The cooking set jeeps her super entertained where she plays more than five minutes, which is so nice. She comes back to it more than her other toys, it keeps her interested.

They were very anxious when I opened the box because they could see what was inside. The girls began to grab the food to put in the pots and pans. I wanted to make sure they could identify the foods. I heard each item up and they named each one to the best of their ability. There were two objects they could not identify. The shrimp they thought was chicken. The other object was red and shaped funny. I told the girls it was meat because that’s what I thought it was. They role played with each other. Taking turns cooking and serving each other. Their mother said when they woke up the next morning they went straight to the pots and pans. They picked up where they left off from the day before. This toy is also very quiet to play with. You don’t hear a lot of clanging and banging. I enjoyed watching the girls play with everything in this set. I needed another mitt or cloth because that’s the only thing they had a problem with. They ripped open the box and were thrilled to see the beautifully painted pots, pans, and food. My son loves seafood and could not believe that there were shrimp and fish!! For the rest of the day they carried around the set and played with it both indoors and outdoors! Since then, the kids have played with the set on their kitchen set, on the couch, outdoors having a picnic, etc! The possibilities are endless! Because they enjoy it so much my only disappointment with the product would be that it didn’t come with a bag to carry everything in! My daughter even dropped the pots a couple of times and not even a chip happened! I really enjoy the quality of the pots, pans, utensils, and food and love that it’s wood and not plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set became an unexpected hit as soon as it was opened! The smoothness of the wood food pieces surprised me and I was no longer worried about sharp edges or splinters. The pots themselves were the right size and there was no frustration of pieces not fitting. There is only 2 lids despite there being 2 pans and 1 pot and the lids only fit their corresponding pot/pan. I didnt like that you could not put the lid flush on the frying pan so it was a learning curve for my child which they got over quickly as they were having fun pretending to be a little chef. The best part was the child size oven mitt! It is the perfect size for little hands and a great way to teach children about hot objects and not to touch them.
