Bitter disgusting iron taste
I got these since my doctor said my iron was low. I used to love these when I was a kid, but now... the aftertaste is gross. It tastes just like the iron pills I was prescribed. The iron just overpowers the fruity flavor, ugh.

+ EXTRA IRON. Nope!
Exp date stamped on the bottle is 2026/10 from Lot 89320348. 160 chewable tablets. I have several tablets left, but they appear mildewy, mottled & discolored. Which looks pretty gross. I can't give these to my grandchildren and feel confident. Disappointed.

Better absorption while being low on iron during c
My husband is getting chemo treatment for pancreatic cancer and has low iron levels. Flintstone’s chewable vitamins with iron were suggested as they are better absorbed in his system than a multivitamin pill.

Taste awful! Super bitter and tart!
I take this vitamins every morning and they are the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. There is no other type of medication that I can take due to the dosage being the correct size that I need. Yet I dread taking them every morning. And if you think I’m over reacting I’m not, trust me! My advice for the company would be to make vitamins so that you may swallow like pills, or to change the flavoring to make a more appealing and less bitterly flavored taste.

They STAIN teeth!!!
I am an adult female. I had been taking these for a few weeks as recommended by my doctor to help with iron deficiency. ( He said iron pills can be large and uncomfortable to swallow) I unfortunately, have noticed a grey stain on my teeth that I have been unable to brush off. When I researched this, I found this chewable vitamin can definitly cause this! Wish there was a warning on the label!!! I will see my dentist tomorrow and hopefully get this stain removed. I dont know if they were working for me or not. Can they be crushed and mixed with something to avoid chewing and the stain????

Great source of iron for adults
I take this daily as an adult. My blood donation center recommended it as my iron was, more often than not, too low for me to donate. Even though I was taking iron supplements and pre-natal vitamins. (Post-menopause) I have been happily donating blood since I added Flintstones + iron.

I began taking this vitamin when I donated Blood platelets, your iron must be pretty high to be eligible to do so. Not only did it enable me to donate, but I really enjoyed the flavor.

Great vitamin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to take Flintstones vitamins when I was a kid, so these were nostalgic for me. The packaging was spot on. Colorful and appealing to a child. The fact that these have added iron is a huge bonus for me, as my son’s doctor recommended an added iron supplement anyway. The taste is better than what I was previously giving him as well.

He loves to eat one everyday I don't have to force him to eat it. It's chewable so that's a plus. This one has extra iron which is what my son needs.

Not appealing to my son
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son did not care for these vitamins. He would gag and refuse to take them. He does not like any type of chewable vitamin (even certain gummy vitamins are off the table!), and prefers a vitamin that he can swallow. I wanted so bad for him to approve of these since his doctor recommended taking a daily multi vitamin with iron, and kids’ vitamins with iron are really hard to find. I did try one of these to see if he was being especially unreasonable in his refusal, and they do have a strong metallic taste.
