Floodlight Mount Accessory for Amazon Blink Outdoor Camera

This product description is outdated. It states clearly what devices it is compatible with (i.e., “Blink Outdoor”) and is not compatible with (i.e., “Blink Indoor, Mini, XT2, XT, or first generation Blink Indoor”). I ordered this with confidence that it would be compatible with my Blink Outdoor cameras as the product description says. This Floodlight Mount has a microUSB adapter and my cameras, also purchased on this order (Blink Outdoor 4) require a USB-C adapter. Since this product description says it is compatible with “Blink Outdoor”, that implies that Blink Outdoor 4 is compatible.

I really originally needed a outdoor light on side of my house by the driveway but this product does so much more. Very simple install without tools or drilling into the exterior of my house. Also simple as downloading the app and setting up the camera functions took a little time but I didn't mind. Great quality and durable to weather several storms I've had here. Will definitely purchase another for the other side of our home and backyard.

However, I gave it to my neighbor who does have a compatible system and they let me know that it was very easy to install and link to their system. They were impressed with the light produced and the positive effect it had on their video quality. Most notably, my neighbor enjoys having the ability to control the light, including adjusting it's brightness, using the app. They were very happy to benefit from my oversight!

Light is motion activated and plenty bright enough. Camera is surprisingly clear even on low res. The only thing I'm not a fan of is it's battery operated. Hoping they last a while but the replacement is quick and easy. Easy install with a clip to slide under siding or comes with screws etc. No issue with it slipping in weather etc so far. Since we have a lot of critters, it's constantly filming but we just delete. I like being able to snap a pic or have video instantly too. So far, so good. Love it!

I did have a little trouble trying to get the camera linked to the app. The equipment seems to be of good quality that will hold up tp the outside elements. It gives great quality pictures and sound. I have a large backyard and the flood lights are powerful enough to light the whole yard up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blink Outdoor 3rd Gen + Floodlight is an excellent security camera and far less expensive than monthly service. With the Beems ultra bright floodlight I can see clearly if anything triggers the motion detectors within the camera. With Motion detection, two way audio, day and night view, weather resistant and a long lasting battery life this is an excellent security camera. It does require a wifi network and you must download an app, but set up and use is very fast and simple. Very happy with this product.

The directions were easy to follow, so set up and installation was super easy. I love the motion sensor light. Especially at night time when we have to walk to or from our vehicle. It also deters people and animals away from our home. The camera works pretty good for what it is. It's not the best at night time, but works well during the day. The life of the batteries last longer than I thought they would honestly so that's a plus. All in all it's an okay product and definitely worth trying if your in the market for an outdoor camera and floodlight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Blink camera line. I have 5 cameras set up already. I have always wondered about their flood light system. This system is super easy to install and totally easy to use. The Clarity is pretty good too. Only problem is I feel like the batteries run out pretty fast. The floodlight system works great to catch the raccoons in our back yard trying to get into our chicken coop. The light is very bright! The system it’s self is super user friendly and you can hook 8 different camera up together I believe. The app it’s self is super user friendly. I also want to mention that the floodlights themselves felt super steady and very well made. Over all we love Blink products and will continue to use them.

The box included the camera, module, floodlight, mounting brackets, 2 aa batteries and 4 D batteries. It is compatible with Alexa has a 2 way audio. The instructions were easy to follow for set up. The floodlight is bright that lights up my whole driveway. You can set floodlight for trigger or motion. The camera picture quality is very clear. The camera picks up motion very well. Love that it is durable and works in all weather. The only problem I been having is sometime the floodlight takes a like 3 seconds to come on. But I will try playing with setting more. But I would definitely recommend this product.

It was extremely easy to install and only requires three screws to mount but we used two and it's not going anywhere. You can use the QR code for mounting instructions or go online for informative videos. It's a win win kind of deal considering you get a motion detector, floodlight and a clear quality camera. We choose to set the motion detector to only go off at night which was a nice option considering were a family of four which can create alot of traffic. The lights are LED and can be adjusted to your liking and we left ours on the half way mark which lite up almost our entire driveway. The camera is high definition and it also records sound even if your not right up next to it. After each recording it sends it straight to your phone in real time. It records from 5 seconds to a minute which you can set up on your phone using the app. You can also set it up to where you only get alerted during portions of the day so your phone Isn't going off every time a family member pulls in or out of the driveway. It comes with a small wifi box that you just plug into any outlet and it connected to our wifi right away. My husband and I did a test run and he actually sent me the video which was pretty cool as I was able to show my friends how great the quality and sound was with Blink. I absolutely recommend this product since it's once piece and replaces multiples and looks great above our driveway!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Blink Floodlight Camera. I was able to set this up very quickly with the directions being simple to follow. Everything I needed was included in the box including the batteries for the camera and the sync module. The sync module and camera connected to my wifi without any problems through the app but I had to connect the sync module before the camera. I must admit the light is brighter than I’d thought it would be which is great. The motion sensor works on point with the light turning on and the motion notification on the app. I am also able to talk and hear through the camera, turn the light off or even record and I can hear everything clearly even with the wind blowing.The best part about this is it's detachable with a quick in and out the slide. I use this looking at the front of my house and sometimes like to take it down for a quick wipe down. I highly recommend this it's convenient, reliable and made to last.

It provides excellent motion activated light, however the features we liked best was the ability to view who was there and be able to speak to them through the app. It extremely easy to set up and runs on battery so we could put it areas that don't have power running to it. We plan to purchase another one to set up by our 5th wheel when we are camping and to leave the camp site for extended periods of time

Installation was somewhat difficult due to my installation location however hooking up the unit was a breeze. Just follow the instructions. Setup and connection to my home network was easy as well. Unit looks discreet which I like. Picture quality is great. Security lights work with the sensors.

I love how well they are to use, how well the cameras picture quality is as well as the speaker. The floodlight is perfect and lets off the perfect amount of light and picks up on motion very well. I love how easy it was to install and how durable it is all around! very very happy with this outdoor 3rd Gen + Floodlight overall and would recommend to everyone, especially those who have the interior Blink cameras because it all works so great together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blink Outdoor 3rd generation with floodlight is exactly what I was looking for to mount on my barn. Included in the box is the camera, sync module 2, the floodlight, a mounting bracket, mounting kit, 2 AA lithium batteries, 4 D-Cell batteries, a USB cable, power adapter, and right angle adapter. Set-up took about 30 minutes, it's compatible with Alexa and has 2-way audio. The Blink home monitor app lets you set the lights for trigger as well as the motion detection zones and to receive alerts. Not a fan of subscriptions so I will be using the sync module instead. You can view in HD day or night mode and the picture is decent so far. The viewing range is 110 degrees which seems to be sufficient for my needs and the lighting is more than enough for my country home (no street lights here!). The only glitch I have found so far is the motion activated lights are hit or miss so I need to do some troubleshooting to see if it's the camera or the user. I deducted one star because it does not include a siren which would come in handy, an added layer of security if you will.
