A: You need to select “classic decaf” to get info about the decaf. If you selected “black silk” it does not say decaf and it is not decaf.

A: Thanks for your question, Sharon. We use ethyl acetate direct process. In the ethyl acetate process, we begin by steaming the beans, which draws the caffeine to the surface; ethyl acetate is then added to the beans to extract the caffeine. After the caffeine is removed, we steam the beans again, and then we’re ready for roasting.

It was very easy to prepare in my Braun coffee machine. The flavor is very good. I added my caramel macchiato creamer and some caramel syrup to give it some sweetness.

I don’t really love dark roast so any lighter, breakfast blend is my preference. This is nice, light and wakes me right up. I’m also an avid coffee drinker so I think that would say a lot.
