Problems with new design
I have used FoodSaver bags for many years now. Unfortunately, FoodSaver has changed the design of the bags, so they do not work as well. The imbedded design in the bags is now wavy lines, so any moisture in the food being vacuum packed is sucked to the sealing edge right away. If the sealing edge is wet, the bags do not seal well. The old design was squares, so the liquid did not reach the sealing edge as quickly. I could get a better vacuum seal using the old bags. With these new bags, I either have to seal one bag inside another or be satisfied with a bag that still has quite a bit of air in it. The point of vacuum packaging is to remove the air, but that cannot be accomplished very well with this new design. Very disappointed with this change. I will be researching bags by all manufacturers before my next purchase.

I did give it to a friend who used food savers and loves them. I can tell the the quality of the bag is top tier. I would consider getting one for my home.

The multiuse storage solution everyone needs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely adore my foodsaver and all the bags that come with it. While this is a review for the pint size, I own almost all sizes and I can't think of a better solution to freezer storage than these bags. I store all types of meats, vegetables, precooked breakfast and stocks in these bags. The air comes out with ease and none of my bags have ever tore, ripped or leaked on me. Nor have they ever freezer burned anything! PLUS, they're perfect for sous viding meats!
