I felt so validated, not alone(boy was I so alone those first 5 years and still trying to navigate it at 6.5) and I feel more joy. Sknox Amazingly Au-some! - Forever Boy is a book that helps special needs parents feel seen, feel heard and feel understood. The author, Kate Swenson does a phenomenal job of sharing her families journey through the autism world. All of the emotions that Kate and her family went through could be felt through her writing. Any special needs parent that needs encouragement or feels alone should buy this book. Family members of someone with Autism should buy this book. Anyone looking to have a better understanding of Autism should buy this book. I cannot recommend it enough!
