And when investigators find a second victim behind the house across the road, OPP Detective Inspector Ellie March must decide who was the intended victim and who was collateral damage-the provincial constable or Dorothy Kerr, a reporter for the local freebie newspaper.
As Detective Constable Kevin Walker joins the investigative team hunting for the killer, his family struggles to cope with the stress caused by the murder of one of Kevin's co-workers.
