Real chicken is the top ingredient. These treats need refrigerated, so they are not an on the go option; however, they are easy to store and use when I'm home. The package is resealable and easy to use. Overall, I would recommend these for an at home treat.

If you want something healthier than many dry/dusty crunchy treats, especially for dogs who might have dental issues or who don’t like hard treats, Dog Joy Chicken is a strong option. However, due to the refrigeration and limited shelf life, it’s best suited for owners who: • Use treats somewhat regularly but not in massive volume (so the bag doesn’t go bad) • Have space in the fridge/freezer and manage “fresh” pet food/treats well • Are willing to pay a bit more for quality and better ingredients If you were using treats just for high-value rewards (e.g. training, vet visits), this seems like it could be a good fit. For every day “snacking”, perhaps a more cost-efficient treat would also be considered.

They are soft, so are easy for my pup with some missing teeth to eat. The only downside is they are refrigerated and must be used within 10 days of opening. Which is fine as long as I remember they’re in the fridge. Package re-seals well.
