Q: I don't understand why its called Fresh Pet. It's obv processed food, as its as that brown color. How is it fresh food if its still processed?

My dog loves

Smells okay unless you’re pregnant 😭 packaging is easy to open, almost like a summer sausage texture on the outside but it doesn’t have a casing.

Great ingredients
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great product - my very picky dogs all loved it. It comes in a roll, making it convenient to slice. It smells like something you might eat and is a loaf texture. The ingredients are great, really good for your pup and it was priced right. My dogs really enjoyed this! I also loved the protein content - with three very active dogs that is so important to me. Would definitely recommend.

The smell of the poop is awful
The food smells awful but nowhere near as bad as it smells when it comes out the other end. My dog loved it but I threw out 5 remaining rolls because I couldn’t handle it. My girl loves her kibble just as well. Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself. A lot of people love the product.

I gave it in addition to his normal dry food and added his monthly heartworm pill in order to entice him to take it. We cut the food into chunks and he started devouring right away. It’s not a strong odor but it grosses me out touching wet dog food so I made my husband do it. But it wasn’t awful in comparison to others.

The packaging in the refrigerated roll is a little messy but the ingredients looked amazing - like human food with chunks of meat and veggies. My dogs were over the moon when we mixed it with their dry food. It was easy on their stomach as well and a package goes a long way. Definitely a step above their regular canned dog food, smelled like real meat. Recommend for everyday feeding or for a treat, especially for your older dogs with sensitive stomachs and missing teeth as it is very soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is picky and I mean turn-his-nose-up-at-most-foods picky but the minute I opened this Freshpet roll he was at my feet locked in; I like that I can actually see the texture and it smells like real food not mystery meat. It’s easy to slice up and store in the fridge, the ingredients list doesn’t stress me out, and it keeps his coat shiny and belly happy. We rotate this in a few times a week and he hasn’t gotten bored of it which is rare around here.

Dogs love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh pet dog food for sensitive stomach was a great hit for my 14 year old golden retriever who has become very picky in her golden years. She doesn’t like to eat much anymore and prefers treats, but I mixed this in with her dog food and there was no hesitation in eating. She looks forward to her meals now because she knows she eating something delicious with her kibbles. This has been added to her food routine going forward.

She is however really picky and did not like it :( my other two doggos loved the smell immediately and ate it right up. The price was not so bad, so I plan on getting so more for them to supplement their dry food.
